After moving to Cape Town nine months ago, I struggled to find a decent barber shop for a price that doesnt break the bank. I finally found Headlines Barber and Im so impressed, they definitely tick all the right boxes. Good service, great experience and most importantly excellent haircut. Received a world class haircut for an extremely budget-friendly price. Finally my search is over😁

The guys here really know what they are doing. Some of them dont really speak English, so you cant have a conversation with them really. But they understand the basics. The shop itself is also very clean and tidy. Waiting time from 0 to 20 minutes

I have been to many Barber Shops.This one is by far the best... The technique, the skill they got it all. Friendly staff.This place is just genuinely the best.My kids cant wait to get there hair cut.They are 5 & 6. Kids that age is generally scared of this kind of stuff. But the guys at Headlines Barber are so friendly... My kids is not scared at all. Keep up the good work guys.This is my place of choice.

Asked for a cut 4 on the top and a 3 for the lower half. A fade cut. I got a 2 and a 1. Looks like Im heading to the army now. Wont be going back since its happened before. First time around I let it slide and thought maybe this time itll be better nope. I paid R190 for a cut I now need to wear a hat till my hair grows out. He did my beard nicely though. Ive seen another reviewer on here saying they cut his hair totally wrong as well. So. In conclusion they can cut, but they dont know when to stop lol. And they blast Arabic Rap music...not a fan. I got scared. :(

Since discovering this barber a few years ago, its been our go to place for haircuts and have only recieved good service. Theyve expanded with another premises as they became more popular. They mainly do mens hair and trim beards with authentic Turkish background music playing. I would recommend them.

Went there for the first time this morning and it was a very pleasant experience even as a walk-in customer.Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because its a cash only business and this wasnt made clear up front so I had to walk to the ATM since I never carry cash any more.Maybe get Snapscan?R100 was good value for the hair cut and trimming down my beard.

Asked them to clean my beard without shortening it. They shaved half of it off. They cut me open on my throat with a blade. They cut the boy before me open on his scalp as well. I could tell the guy working on me was unskilled with the blade. His cutting style is biased to the right because he does not move when working. I asked him why he cut off half my beard and he insisted that he just trimmed it, that he used the largest clipper, and that it was my fault he cut off so much because I did not show pictures. He did not take responsibility for his failure. His attitude was worse. He swore at me as I left the shop. Worst barber experience to date, literally. I would advise any man that values his beard to stay away from this barber shop.PS: The guy who did my hair did not look like a regular. Maybe the other guys are competent and he is the problem.
