Literally the best barber and barbershop I have ever gone to in Cape-Town. I always get the best consistent haircuts and really enjoy conversations with Hammies! You are able to make bookings and this avoids waiting time. He’s experience of 9 years shows everytime I get a cut. I would recommend this place to anyone !

I feel that if its 12h40, the shop is clearly empty and your closing time says 13h00, I shouldnt be refused service for my 10min haircut. Disappointing.

There are two guys who, one does the booking and he cut good the other cut the rest of the people but he is not so good.He messed me up. So my experience was not good.

I have been going to this barbershop for 6 years and have never been disappointed. I have recommended him to so many of my friends and they have not been disappointed as well. I love that I can make an appointment on their website and not have to wait in line. The experience is always professional!!!

Terrible place, I would not recommend. They badly burned my head with their curling chemicals and hair colorant. It took 2 doctor visits and around 4 weeks to recover fully. As a gesture of good faith they offered me a refund and then they just stopped responding to my emails. So it was all empty words so that I wouldn’t write this review.The haircut was decent though, but if you value your life I wouldn’t recommend else from this establishment.

Hamies is the best barber I have ever come across. I have been a client of his for 13 years. He treats each client like they are the only person in the world and is a real perfectionist. He never rushes you to get the next person into the chair.

They truly care about their clients. Value for your money.

Very dishonest staff, I went to the toilet, came back to find my purse was open and someone had taken money out my wallet and my phone which I just left on the table disappeared... I wont say the drama that followed but be very careful at this place, not safe or secure, the services are overpriced for the quality of the haircut you get. What a disappointment.

By far the best barber I have been to ,I have to commend on the cleanliness and the uv sterilization of equipment which has been a practice for a few years now.its also best to book an appointment, you then have 50 minutes to yourself .no rushing on the haircut 🙂🙂🙂

As much as I respect the ability and the talent of the guys over at Hammies, I cant help but bemoan the lack of professionalism for a business that aims to distinguish itself from other barbershops in this particular respect. The aim of the app and the booking system is to avoid the hassle of having to spend countless hours in queues, yet this is dealt a fatal blow when the business owner (and head barber) himself fails to be punctual. I can understand that, for reasons that he cannot always help, life gets in the way. That being said, I would think that the least one can do when one is running late is to inform the customer of the situation and possibly reschedule if possible. I had the misfortune of having to wait for half of the booking time without any word on when the appointment would start (if at all) or what could be done to remedy the situation. Above all, it disappoints me to think that this type of situation happens in a barbershop that has great potential to grow. For future customers, please get yourselves organized so that you have the chance to showcase just how good you can be.

If you want a good trimline. Dont bother going. Only one good barber, the other is a learner who only informed me of his learners hip after he reorganized my hairline. I was promised a free haircut from Hammie but every time I arrive theres an excuse. I do not recommend if youre new in town looking for a barber you can trust.

I booked using the one of a kind App from Apple iStore, this is the only barbershop so organised to have booking apps both on Android and ios in Capet town, maybe whole of SA haha. Anyways, the shop is very clean and my female haircut and dye was amazing. Thank you guys, you are awesome.
