On day 8 of our Covid quarantine, my daughters and I were in GREAT need of an ice cream Treat!! With Gelato not answering their phone, we were somewhat stumped, sitting outside the green point branch, wondering how we were going to get our wish.Blokes Hair jumped out at me! And Megan, with the most amount of kindness and courage, helped us to fulfill our cabin-fever desires, by taking my credit card and playing ice cream delivery-person for us complete strangers. I went there with my toddler to cut his hair and he threw a tantrum and wouldnt let anyone touch his hair. But the staff were such professionals and so understanding. They even gave me the option of doing it and then guiding me as my son wouldnt trust them. But it felt great that they understand the moment and helped where they could. I will continue to go here.

Not a great first experience.I made an appointment with Byron as I don’t know any of the stylists. I asked if he would be able to do a blade fade, which he denied and said he would rather let Angela do the blade fade and he would do the rest.Angela definitely knew what she was doing, however, Byron wanted to give it a try. I am in a lot of pain and my sides have been bleeding since I left the salon.Very disappointed because I am happy with what my hair looks like from the front, but the back of my head keeps bleeding with any gentle touch and I am in a lot of pain. I should not have been a guinea pig for him to try this out.I told them I have sensitive skin and that some bleeding always happens, but never with this much pain.If the owner had phoned me to apologise for the fact that an inexperienced person had used my head to try something new, I would have understood.However, the owner phoned me to blame the ‘condition of my sculpt’ on the fact that there was bleeding.There is absolutely nothing wrong with my sculpt and even with my sensitive skin I have never had something this horrific happen at what is supposed to be a professional barber.The fact that I had to hold a tissue to my head to stop the bleeding while the continued cutting my hair after they laughed and sprayed the cuts with HAIRSPRAY is absolutely disgusting.My friends have contacted me and said that they should’ve warned me not to go to any of the Blokes Hair salons due to constant dissatisfaction.

When I walked in the door, I was offered a glass of wine to drink (included in the experience), had great conversation with Wilsa (staff), and enjoyed one of my best haircuts ever. Lance was thorough with how he cut my hair and he wanted to talk to me, unlike other places Ive been to. He did a tremendous job and listened to what I wanted. This was my first time at Blokes, and I definitely plan to return.

I received a voucher for a free blow dry at the Blokes Ideas Cartel. This branch has now closed and when asked the one in Prestwich St they said they could not honor it. That to me is bad marketing, Im sorry but as part of a chain I feel you should have. I also mentioned I live in Prestwich St, I just moved there, which would have meant a repeat customer for myself and my husband, but I guess not any longer...
