I absolutely love this places service. Came here in a rush late at night for some food. The burgers are absolutely amazing. Even forget to take a proper picture before digging in 😄.

Love coming back to Cafe Manhattan! The energy here is always light and fun!Its perfect for a quick drinks catchup with friends, and if youre feeling peckish, they have a great bar style menu.Be warned, their burgers are massive and can easily be shared.

A cute little pub bar atmosphere with some limited but good food options. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. The neighbourhood around is very updated and you feel like you’re apart of the excitement here.

Super cute place in the center if the city, there are seats inside but also on the terrace outside. We ordered some cocktails and they were pretty good and well done! Good atmosphere and kind staff, perfect if you want to spent couple of hours in a nice place! I recommended it for sure!

Great after work hangout. Awesome happy hour specials 2-4-1 on beers and cocktails from 16:00 - 18:00. I would highly recommend the food everything is good. The have some good looking and tasting cocktails on the menu. The staff is friendly and all round great service..

Ive tried to visit this spot on three separate occasions whilst staying in Cape Town. Unfortunately the hours that are listed online arent in keeping with those displayed on Google Maps. Each time Ive came here the door has been locked although patrons inside still at bar ordering, yet told it was closed? Last night was the third attempt, but it was, surprise surprise, closed - this time for a private function.After trying on three different days at three different times, I give up. Lack of consistency + transparency means theres little reliability here so I wouldnt go out of your way to visit - you might find it closed (but frustratingly still open to patrons inside?).

Very nice atmosphere with a vi bey trend. Crowd is fun to hang with.Waiters is helpful and friendly. Parking is a bit of a problem as you must circle the block a few times before you get parking available. Better to park a bit further away and walk there. The streets are normally busy so it wont be to dangerous.

Closes a little early. An interesting crowd and a pretty good burger. You know what its like when you order and you want your friends dish, they all seem good so return often.

We used to be regular visitors of Manhattans... Until we found out yesterday that what is referred to as 419 in Nigeria is called a Monday evening 2for1 offer at Manhattans.The two of us were told that we could buy a drink and get one for free. After having finished our one beer each we were presented the bill according to that we were supposed to pay for 2 beers. The barkeeper insisted this would be the offer as we were free to order a second beer for free. (In other words, the minimum order is two beers for the offer to apply, but this apparently doesnt sound attractive enough to be expressly said by the staff before taking the order)What kind of ridiculous buy a drink, get one free offer is this?Most surprisingly, after we told the barkeeper that this was fraud, that we were not willing to pay for this nonsense and him taking around 10 minutes to rectify the bill after holding a caucus with another staff member, their very strange Ts and Cs suddenly did not apply to us anymore without further comment.One question however remains: are they a bunch of scammers, a tourist trap or just greedy? Well, we dont know. And we might never find out. Because we are definitely not going to come back.

Dreadful. Poor service, food (hamburger, chips and onion rings) took forever (almost an hour) and was soggy and pretty tasteless. Wont see me too soon again.....

Always busy but relaxing, friendly bar staff. Go out of their way to make you feel at home, whether alone or with friends. Service is fast, polite. People visiting the place is friendly and friendly chats is all round. Stylish and easy easy going. No dress code necessary everyone welcomes. It has become on of my favourite stops at the waterkant.
