Exyremely long waiting time for service. Up to an hour to speak to anyone. Waiting atea can be full but too few ataff members will take ther breal. High service costs not warrantd. Standard takes a lot with very little given. area can be full

Sat for over an hour to collect a new card, which took all of 2 minutes, pathetic slow service, they ask the reason for your visit, surely the people who can be helped quickly should go through to keep the number of people ticking over, waiting room was packed with very little movement

Staff are friendly and helpful. However, service is VERY slow. Waited for more than an hour just to collect my card... The system needs to be streamlined and made more efficient. People dont have the time to sit and wait for hours at end.

Really bad service... was there to pick up a card, I was the only person waiting to be helped, waited 15minutes, still no one helped me... no... the consultants were not busy with other clients... will close my account now... that is if...i get helped

Worst Service Ever!Waited 1.5hours and left just to increase a electronic transfer limit that could not be increased on an app! (Many others walked out)Standard Bank electronic features can’t even work!The “branch manager” (Tharesia Berry)was in conference call and could not attend to a customer complaint regarding the pathetic waiting times! Yet alone send a representative that actually can converse with a client.Normality is now returning and the excuse of short staff due to Covid is pathetic, helped at Canal Walk within 20min!!!!!The more I think about it , maybe it’s time to consider that FNB call.

Definitely the worst branch for service. Nothing happens. An hour in the q and I moved up 2 places..... Had to leave the q on two previous occasions after waiting for more than a hour each time. This is not a Covid thing, bad service reviews date back more than two years.

On two occasions this month I had no other choice but to visit the bank - I dreaded the prospect, but I chose the Tyger Manor branch on both occasions. I was pleasantly surprised with how professionally and efficiently my queries were resolved. It definitely lacked the simplicity of some of the newer banks, but I am satisfied with the level of service I received. Thank you.

You walk in, see alot of people sitting and waiting but there is no system that is clear to see who is first. You walk around looking for someone to help you get to the right place, you find no-one, get to help desk-EMPTY.Go back, i see a book to sign in without a pen....Turn around and walk out...you just wasted 10min excluding the drive there

Worst place to open an account. These people have no respect for time and customers. The experience at this branch was horrific. Waited for almost an hour to get served. Was told it would take 10 minutes. Seen some people come and get served without delay. I dont know if it is discrimination or poor service. It surely felt like some people still have special treatment at standard bank tyger manor

Standard Bank must be one of the worst banks, if not the worst by far, to do business with by telephone. I have just spent 7 minutes on my Telkom line trying to get to speak with a consultant. This is similar to just about all my experiences during many years. I am seriously thinking about transferring my banking business to another bank even although I have been a customer for 48 years. It is quicker for me to drive a few kilometres to my branch to make a simple enquiry than to try and get an answer by phone. TERRIBLE!Standard Banks senior management should do an experiment - pretend to be a customer and phone the bank. See what you get. TERRIBLE!
