Unfortunately didnt have 2 key baking ingredients for any custom-made cake. Food colouring and fobdant. Disappointing for a baking supplier.

What a wonderful experience I had today (01/09/2020) at this store!I came from another baking store where I had the worse experience and what a breath of fresh air it was coming into this store. The owners husband was friendly and so helpful. Im a hobby baker and dont have much experience with the baking tools, utensils, etc, thats needed. He assisted me and I felt like I wanted to purchase everything in the shop:-)I will definitely recommend Bakeware Boutique to anybody looking for items to purchase. Well done and may your business go from strength to strength.

The wife had been dying to go to this shop ever since it opened up a few months back. So while on a stroll to Cavendish we decided to pop in.We were definitely not disappointed. It is a smallish shop but with a ton of stuff and most of it at very reasonable and cheap prices compared to their competition. Even i noticed (someone who does not know a lick about baking/cooking) that a spatula i saw at another shop for R60 was available here for about R 30ish.The shop is run by a husband and wife duo which gives the shop a very mom and pop store vibe, kind of reminded me of the local corner shop back in my old neighborhood in Brooklyn where everyone knew each other.The environment is very friendly and helpful. Both the husband and wife are quick to assist anyone and are very knowledgeable.It has become my wifes go to shop for her baking needs and I would definitely recommend this place if you want a pleasant shopping experience with people who know what they are talking about.
