The game customer care service is number one,, they were very helpful at handling my query after i returned a tv that i bought close to 2019, and it started having issues after 2years . It was working perfect,, and i was very happy with it. So i took it to the shop so that they can book in for repairs as it was still under warranty. Unfortunately when it came back to me it had another different problem. I took it back again to shop and the matter was resolved by refund. Im happy to be the game customer. All i can say is thank you for your service.That was my experience.

Great place to shop at with affordable prices from appliances down to food. The tellers are chatty and work but not fast enough. Ques tend to very long and customers are allowed to pay at different departments till points but when you approach them, theyre quick to claim that the eft machine is offline. How would they help the customers wanting to buy from their departments then? Ive experienced this four times at the cellular counter at the back. Its as if theyre more interested in the sale of cellular and commission attached to it than to ring up a sale of non cellular. Ive heard how the one sales lady tell the cashier to add her sales ID to the sale for commission. I witnessed how the customer took the item from the floor, walked to till point to pay. The only time the sales lady became aware of the customer was when the cashier asked her for a barcode and price of item. Then she claimed because its from her department, she must get the sale. All this in front of customers. That is a bad image and shows that customer service is not important, only the sale and commission. I also feel that staff do not know the specs of their products. I ended up walking out because I did not receive the information I wanted on a laptop. I had to Google it and compared the aftersale services from their competitors and bought it elsewhere. I enquired about aftersales services and was told by staff that Game does not offer insurance and extended warranty on products. The good side is when you exchange an item under warranty conditions, there are no problems.

I did my monthly shopping at Game in Promenade Mitchells plain this morning.Store was quiet and it was nice .staff were friendly and aisles were clean.few items not on shelf but staff were visible and helpful. I had a pleasant shopping experience.thank you

I rate this store a ZERO. I am disgusted and beyond appalled by their product certification process. I went to buy my son a breakfast options this morning and myself a TV bracket. I discovered that the TV bracket was prepend and was missing the instruction manual,some bolts and screws.Not only that, I am beyond disgusted with the sight when I discovered that Original Morvite was filled with living maggots. I am throwing away all food items bought from that filty store, which nearly damaged my sons health and wellbeing. DEEPLY TRUAMATISED and will not and cannot recommend the store.

Hi .Today wasnt my first time at game promenade I bought a phone in 2019 however I ensured the phone in January 2020, however the phone started giving problems, and I did what any customer would do go to the store, but the service I delet with was unacceptable and I was told theres nothing they could do but I go to my service provider, Im also a regular customer at game, and always buy my cellphones there cash purchases. It looks like a hyper market with the various items for purchase, from groceries, hardware, toys, and various electronics from a phone to fridges and washing machines. However, I was looking for a decent newer version printer but their stock was very limited. I went to an online store where I found a reasonably priced printer.

Usually when I go into Game its not a bad experience. Most of the time the lines are not long due to sufficient cashiers and there are always people ready to assist on the general shop floor. I also like that they have a cashier at the back by the tech stuff, it just makes the visit easier if youre going in just to get batteries you dont have to stand in line behind someone buying groceries for a week.

So I was in game and returned our tv that has just switched off after 3 years of purchasing. We got at customer service an the lady lee Anne assisted us with details etc . Another lady was working on the other side doing the repairment paperwork etc. Then another lady came and said she wanted to check out the tv and see if it switched on or not but this was done at the other side where the TVs are displayed . Okay she checked what was wrong etc. We returned to customer service where lee Anne and Fatima was still helping customers .I understand that these things takes long and as a customer we need to be patient . By the way ,while lee Anne was assisting she kept saying we dont know when the tv will be fixed due to covid ,might be over 2 or 3 month period we were waiting there for about an half an hour but we were next in line ,the reason for this review is that at customer service there was none ,they were conversating to one another about whatsoever, which couldve been less ,not saying they shouldnt talk but the things they were talking about , they were also discussing one of the ladies that took their lunch over their time ,another things, there was a man that stole something and the security made it so visible to customers now to see this man stole something ,I mean thats no ones business sort your things out within the business not for customers to see that was very unprofessional ,please focus more on your customer service and letting your customers feel happy leaving your store

I feel like they dont care about the customer at all. Was at the store to buy a couch but first of all no one came out to help me. The furniture is broken but they still sell them. And they dont have stock but they selling the display which is damage and dirty and it is still going for a high price.

The lines are always long and the staff to busy to help. Tried to go in to buy a washing machine. Had some questions, asked the gentleman at the appliances and he told me he would get back to me, waited 35 minutes nothing, asked another guy who in the middle of talking to me went to help another customer. We ended up buying the machine at hi fi Corp that same day, their service was excellent.

Last week Game advertise q washing machine on special and it was worth the price but only one thing i was very dissatisfied with was the that we have to go fetch it from their warehouse in Airport Industria that really a no go so why put something on special but then you have to pay your own transport to go get it 🤔

Never enough trolleys, and for some reason always sort of cashiers or rather to many tills closed at month end. So for that Reason I go to Game Canaal Walk. Do you want to buy an X-Box game or any game, if you think you can just pop in and purchase it, Forget it. The Sales men dodge you because they do not want to go and fetch it at the back, and if you finally get someone, minimum time to get the game from where they pack it at the back is 1 hour. So you spend about 1h30 to 2h00 just to purchase one game, so I avoid this branch for my own sanity.

From always having no trolleys available, after sending an email to complain, they definitely upped their Game. Lately theres sufficient trolleys. I noticed more cashiers, especially on weekends. Helpful staff at the Help desk. Added, they played such lovely music, I dont want to leave the store!

I was at game last week and I must say it was not a pleasant experience at all, I wanted to buy my 10 months old baby a feeding chair. They was a group of game staff members chatting.. I approached them and I asked for assistance but non of them was willing to help me.. Only 1 lady pointed at some shelves like she was ordering me to help myself.. And I did exactly that...they was only 2 feeding chairs left 1 on display and 1 in a box. And that box ws opened so I took that feeding chair to take a good look at it.. I ws attacked by the same lady who pointed at the shelves fo me to help myself asking me why am I opening. I felt so low as if I was going to pay for it. I was really disappointed. With the way I was treated I will never set my foot at game again

I was assaulted by staff managing the trolleys at Game Store Promenade in Mitchells Plain upon leaving the store yesterday 14 November 2018.Whilst leaving the store and at the entrance I was approached by a trolley boy contracted by Game Stores who abruptly stopped me by standing in front of the trolley preventing me from leaving the store and very rudely told me in a poor english accent (if i can call it that) that I can not leave the store with the trolley while he continuously yanked and pulled at the trolley. I had my 4 year old son and a bag in the trolley.I was completely flabbergasted. I demanded that he leave the trolley and to let me go. The trolley boy said no, and insisted that I am not allowed to leave the store with the trolley. I turned to the 2 female security guards sitting at the entrance door for assistance. The security guards in turn yelled at me saying hey wena gesturing I should give the trolley and remove my bag and son from the trolley. I immediately asked the security guard for a manager and was abruptly told that I must go look for him in the store. I found the Manager approximately 5 meters away in full view of the entrance from where I was literately being assaulted. I went to the manager known as Reginald, a sales manager, I explained to him what had happened and his response was that I should point out to him the individual which assaulted me. They stood directly behind me as they proudly followed me to the manager, he Reginald then told me that it is fine he will sort them out. I then asked whether they worked for game as they were not wearing any game uniform and looked scruffy and dirty and not presentable to work with customers. He Reginald replied that they are suppose to collect the game trolleys. I was disgusted and left the store with my 4 year old son still in the trolley while Reginald was having a discussion with the trolley boys. In a state, blood pressure sky high with a massive headache and my son asking mommy what happened repeatedly clearly bewildered, I did not want to leave the shopping mall immediately as i was scared of being assaulted again by the these guys. I went into another store to calm my nerves and to get away from theses guys that i am sorry to say look like creeps with reflector jackets. I left the Mall shortly thereafter and had to come to terms with the treatment which i received from staff / contract workers of one of the leading stores in our country. What makes it even worse is that this is not the first time that i have been treated in this manner by these trolley boys collecting trolleys for Game stores. A few months back i reported to a different manager, Quinton , that I was accosted in the shopping Mall while i had my children with me, by the trolley boys who claimed that it is their instructions that no customer should be in the Mall with a Game trolley pushing their children therein whether you have your clearly marked Game shopping bags in them or not.This treatment is unacceptable and notwithstanding reporting the assault, not a single reply from Game management even though this incident was reported to the Game Head Office by my husband.This is clearly the instructions from game to the trolley boys.I will never go back to a store where customers are treated as second hand customers but their money is good enough to be spent in their store.Traumatized and Disgusted.

If you want a bad customer service and to be ignored go to Game in Mitchells Plain- Promenade especially at the grocery department. But go to electrical department youll get the good service. Theres a gentleman by the name Nizaam at T.V. or computer department he is the best in customer service, so patient with customers Ive seen him treating people well on different times.

Very bad like always. There was no trolleys ask the workers was informed the busy bringing it inside from outside. Shop was empty almost no customers so I dont understand why there was no trolleys. After waiting 15 minutes l went to customer service to report it again nothing was done. Went inside without trolley came back twice to check still no trolleys and like always nobody to help you. Sending you from this to that. Left shop without item and still no trolleys after almost an hour.

Why do we have to be satisfied with shoddy service? Out of 15 till points, only 5 is manned. This creates long queues and we spend more time in the queue than actual shopping. This is unacceptable. Game raves about their specials. Special attention should be given to their front end.

Staff needs to know what the client is looking for as they on most cases dont have a clue what you looking for and send you to the wrong section of the store and only a few at the tills when the store is full another point is why they have a Lotto stand that doesnt service a perpose as the staff redirect you you to the liquor store which is very inconvenient as it is small and they attend mostly to shoppers that perchace alcohol, this needs to be rectified as some dont drink and open the lottery counter in the main store asap

Always having great service not one hiccup as yet except people be on the look out when in any store today the lights where acting up so wiles in the store everyone heard this commotion an what was shocking is the was a south African male who tried to rob mix race male hope I put that in the best way anyway how it happened was the young man was walking listening to music an he say I quote I heard nothing an thought what happened so he checks for his phone in his pocket an next thing its gone so he looks to the African male next to him an said hey wenna an the guy gives the phone saying oh sorry the phone fell on the floor no sound of any phone falling as his GF was walking on the other side of him so the African male ran out the door security fortunately had not captured the male so yes people pick pocket is now in the shopping malls again be on guard an be safe..
