I would Highly recommend Awnmaster in Cape Town.We originally used another company, but after they had to replace the structures for the 5th time due to storm damage, we had to look elsewhere and luckily found Awnmaster.2 Days after installing these structures, Cape Town was hit by a storm with winds of up to 95km/h, and the structures did not even move. The teams were on time, they installed in a record time, everything is 100% level and they cleaned up after themselves.Project management was perfect. I was only required to get involved in the requirements and after that, they installed without any input or micromanagement required from my side.Thank you to the whole team from Cape Town – great work!

After an initially worrisome experience due to staff members leaving and having to determine what was happening to my order post paying the deposit timeously , Cobus (owner) and I eventually made contact and he could ascertain I was not happy due to the lack of communication from said person who left post taking my order etc.Nonetheless, I insisted we meet on site at my home to determine that what was being quoted was indeed correct , meeting him personally allayed my fears and luckily we met as the initial quote had to be tweaked , albeit it costing a bit more it was the better solution and new drawings were signed off by me.Then it was a waiting game for stock to arrive from PMB which I followed up last week and it arrived Friday 19th feb , two days later than excepted BUT Cobus and his team still met their deadline today 22 Feb and installed ..... what an amazing 3 man team of installers .... Raygaan the main installer is an absolute superstar !!!! They are brand ambassadors for you Cobus .... , will recommend you highly and have more projects for Awnmaster Cape shortly.I am pedantic when it comes to service and communication and after an initial hiccup , I am more than satisfied.

This company struggled to get raw materials due to covid challenges. I worked with them and the end product was surely worth the wait. They always willing to ensure you are happy and do come back if there is a problem.

Despite a long wait due to COVID related supply constraints , the transparent communications and updates were appreciated and most of all the final product is absolutely stunning.

Not very impressed.Visited over a week ago to ask for a quote for an awning.Sent a follow up email, and have not received a reply.

Competitively Priced (we got a lot of quotes) and a quality roof. The installers were neat, on time and in and out in half a day. Fergus the salesman was upfront and gave good advice. Happy we listened to him. Recommended company.

We had electrical issues following the installation of our awning which resulted in further expense to ourselves to rectify as their Management completely disregarded our complaint. A year after installation we had further maintenance issues, and once again their Management was not willing to assist with our concern, despite our being advised by the area Representative that the awning needed to be resealed. We had spent weeks doing follow ups with their area Representative, and finally after almost a 2-month wait, we received a WhatsApp message informing us of their response! We are now left trying to decide how to get the matter rectified with the assistance of another service provider.....and again further expense to ourselves!! Their after installation service is utterly appalling, and their Management take no interest in addressing customer concerns. Very disappointing as we spent a lot of money on the installation!!

I dont want to be disrespectful because I know the challenges of being a contractor. This system is not suitable if you need the area underneath to be dry. It looks great after installation but the corners leak and besides the water coming through the joints, the gutter is too small so the water runs over.After the first massive leak, which they were unsuccessful to repair, I fixed it and pointed out the mistakes. Today, 18 months after installation, with the roof still leaking, and no show of Cobus, I decided to repair once again.I also complained and waited for Cobus to arrive with no phone call to say hes not coming. Nothing.If a roofing company are at their busiest during rainy season, it should be a warning sign.

Would not recommend anyone to go with Awnmaster.

The work done in 2014 was very good, but when I suffered rain damage, the service was particularly poor. One David makes two appointments to see me and simply does not show up. No call. Nothing!Obviously I complained to the driver, a lady named Petro. No excuse. Nothing! Please send an email to find out if David has contacted me again. Its poorly over.
