Bad attitude, arrogant male receptionist and poor product knowledge.Its a take your money and run kind of business.Im sure the 5 star ratings are false.Ricky was helpful though.I bought two batteries for my garage doors and when I called to get advise on the connection clips not fitting my garage motors(even after I took a sample of the expired batteries with to their shop) the male receptionist tells me that I shouldve know the difference...Keep treating customers that way and you will close in no time.Dont bother responding...you should have known the difference.

AVOID! I wouldnt give any stars but am forced to give 1. The owner has an attitude problem. After a brand new automated garage door installation, more than 3 repairs were required and the garage door STILL doesnt function properly. The door has also been left damaged and broken from their repairs. Dont even bother asking about the product warranty because they will do nothing about it, even after they cause the damage! AVOID!In response to you, Ricky - The last correspondence was Septmber 2020 and we still have a broken garage door, the lock mechanism has been damaged even further and never resolved. Your team was supposed to sort it out and never did. After trying to contact you (go look at your emails 25 September 2020) and that was not the only one IGNORED (there were multiple with zero response), we are still left with a damaged product that was supposed to be brand new and enjoyed, yet here we are trying to find someone to fix it. The entire door at this rate should have been removed and a new one installed based on the amount of damage that has been done to it. Interesting how all of a sudden you want to rectify this issue when your poor service is voiced in the public domain...

I was shocked to find out that East Gates & Automation charges a callout fee to come and look at a problem I was having with my garage motor. Surely in 2020 businesses have evolved? Charging a callout effectively allows them to charge whatever they like and forces me to use them because they have already billed me before even seeing the the problem. I am then paying the callout fee + whatever it costs to fix the problem, so I am actually paying them to be a client.

I had a very positive experience with the installation of my garage door motor and sliding gate motor 👍🏽

Having this company Easy Gates and Automation do the installations of my 2 Single Sectional Automated Garage Doors and Swing Gate Automation was and still is the WORST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE.First, the installer installed the tracks of the both Garage doors upside down. I mistake I as the client picked up after watching a YouTube Video on How to install Sectional Garage Doors.Secondly, the installer burnt out the Controller Box on the Swing Gate Automation after wrongfully installing the MagLock.Thirdly, all the remotes continously dont work with the garage doors and swing gates as originally programmed.Fourthly, bad workmanship was noticed by me regarding the welding that holds one of the swing gate automated arms, busy ripping lose.I have most probably called and complaint to Easy Gates and Automation a myriad of times. Every time they send out a Repair Guy for a Brand New Installation (Yes, my installation has become a repair, overnight) and after he leaves the same problems occur.This all happened from the time of installation 14 July 2018 to date 13 August 2018.My advice, stay away from this company, unless you like stress and a whole lot of frustration.Extremely Dissapointed ClientAndre Vollenhoven
