Not very happy with the service from Safari Center. Have to phone or email to ask for feedback constantly. They are one of the Ikamper resellers in the Western Cape - Asked for a quote, that they supplied on an item in stock. When placing the order, the salesperson said the item is not in stock. Why quote on an item that you cannot offer? - Reply to the response from Safari - the salesman confirmed per telephone that the iKamper was sold a week prior - not during the weekend as stated. RSI Connect was able to assist us with good service (they actually phoned back to make the sale) and a considerably cheaper.

Asked for assistance 2 sales representatives I spoke with did not seem eager to assist. I had to create 2 scenarios where they had the chance to respond with solutions if it was their own car. Both were not interested

What an awful experience. Called them this morning ro ask if I could bring my 4 x 4 campervan in to discuss a new awning and they said I was welcome to do so. My wife and I were greeted atvthe door by a grey haired man in a blue and white check shirt who then took us to see the awnings. When I explained I needed an awning for my camper van he told me the company does not do camper vans and bluntly suggested my campervan was made by a here today gone tomorrow concern without even going to look at it. He said there was nobway they could fit any awning without knowing the construction of the van. When I suggested we start the conversation again as I was looking for solutions and would he like ro look at the campervan, he reiterated that Safari Centre does not do campervans. We left the shop in our 4 x4 Toyota Hilux Navistar never ro return and went a spent our R4800 at another company that was only to happy to help us

Your web site is not user friendly with very little options of products on display. No prices and difficult to find any item. To inquire more info on products via the web is of no use as I did not get any response. I have therefore decided to purchase my roof rack and 270 awn at a shop with customer service. I am working in Africa and therefore not able to visit the shop.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff with a wisdom of knowledge on anything 4x4 related. I Have installed a few items from them on my Landrover and I never had any issues. Their workmanship is top notch and they are very reasonable priced. Well done to Johan and his team.

The widest variety of 4x4 equipement is available. Staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are well marked on most items and items are well displayed. A lovely place to visit for the outdour enthusiast. Prices of goods are generally a bit steep but I suppose it comes with the quality that is being sold.

If you like outdoors then this is the place where you can get you equipment.

My husband and I have just purchased a trailer with roof top tent from Safari centre. We originally went there just to have our bakkie wired for a fridge. The service we received from Horst was amazing. he is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Would not hesitate to recommend safari centre to anyone.

Love this shop. Phoned another 4x4 shop in Paarden Eiland, who didnt have the parts in stock, could have ordered from the same supplier, but decided to refer me to Safari Centre. Made the call, got my quote, paid the quote, parts was ordered and I received it in the said time. Will definitely support them in the future.

This is a very centrally situated 4x4 fitment shop that sells , makes , fits and repairs EVERYTHING to do with camping , out door activities , motor vehicles and trailers .The store keeps a wide range of accessories for all 4x4 and camping enthusiasts. From tents to Braai grids . Lighting to porta potties. Shocks to winches. This store has it all. The staff are extremely Knowledgeable and the owner is right there on the floor accessible at all times to make sure you have an amazing shopping experience.

Simply the best place to go before you go camping or on safari

Well stocked

Good service untill I rejected an inflated qoute for a camping fridge repair. They added in over R1000 to have fridge sent away for repair. (I know this because I spoke to place on JHB where fridge was to be sent) When I asked the sales person why their price is so much higher he said thats just the costs. Eventually he admitted its their mark up. I rejected the qoute and only then was I informed that I will have to pay R450 to them before I can get my fridge back. I was not informed of this beforehand and at no point did I sign anything agreeing to it. When I fetched my fridge I said so and they waived the fee. The salespersons conduct also became a little juvenile at this point. I would not have minded paying a small admin fee if had been made aware of this right from the start. Please take note Safari Centre as this would be better business practise.

Good range of overpriced products. Bought a tyre pressure guage, which salesman assured me was accurate. It was not! Its going back.

Despite requesting and booking beforehand they would not have a look at the item to be repaired even though it was agreed that it was 90% likely that it was a simple pc board change. A 5 minute job! But no I had to leave it there and make the 70km return trip to collect it. A case of lets do what suits us and dont consider the customer.
