Very bad service... Motorvaps will find all loop holes NOT to go ahead with your claim. Spoken to all at higher authority but NO Response what so ever.. Consultants sounds nice but when time comes nothing can be done... Find a reputable company people.. All the bestThanks

Experienced punctures on 2 of my tyres as well as an incision in one and the back tyres cracking due to potholes. I submitted a claim, after having been to a dealership to get a quote and them conducting a full inspection of the tyres. MotorVaps outright refuses to accept my claim. Finding loopholes and using jargon as a means of refusal. In over 2 years with MotorVaps, never once have I claimed. I’ve spoken to countless individuals and no one has the capacity or competence to resolve my claim. I would advise staying far away from this unethical, unprofessional business. Instead, use one of the larger more reputable companies for all your vehicle warranty needs. Total rip-off and scam.

Paid a substantial amount for a warranty with Motorvaps and thus far I have submitted 3 claims in 10 months time of which they were only prepared to pay barely 10% of one of the claims. Furthermore when I submit claims they provide reference numbers online but they lose the claims and complaints and I have to resubmit. Their service absolutely sucks and they never pay any claims. Please think twice about taking out a warranty with this company.

Scammers, they didnt pay for anything, and my car was in for service for a whole 3 days because nobody could confirm /authorize, and I called a week before asking and letting them know Ill be taking my vehicle for services. they refused to pay at least 50%. I had to go get a loan to pay for the whole services

Was sort of forced to take this guarantee by a dealer. Auto Extreme, Silverton Pretoria. (Bad news dealer) Was a month with them, then I got a problem with the cars clutch. Answer when I want to claim Wear and tear. I cancelled within that month this rubbish. I paid R15995 for this and only R4000 was paid back to me. Please be warned this guarantee is less worth than the paper it is written on.

I wasnt very happy with the service I received but Motorvaps made sure that I was won over again and that I felt valued. The call agent I spoke to had such knowledge of their products, it was really impressive. From almost wanting to leave, to receiving such great service, I stayed. My issue was dealt with professionalism and genuine concern. I give Motorvaps 5 stars for winning me over as a life- long client and for really making me feel valued.

Called into Motorvaps and the agent was super professional and understood the problem from the get go. They followed up like they said they would, hope all the employee are like that. Being self-employed, my vehicle is the most essential part of my business. its safe to say that is an extra limb. So when my vehicle broke down because of a gear box problem, I was totally devastated. I would not only be able to do any work at all, let alone earn an income. The lockdown did not make it any easier as I thought that my claim would take forever and this would be disastrous for my financial situation. The sales assistant never mentioned anything about paintless dent remover. After 5 months 3 claims rejected because the scracth needed touch of paint. They offer R5000 per claim BUT ONLY PAY R600 FOR LABOUR AND NOT MORE THAN R1300 FOR ITEMS USED TO BUFF???? SINCE THIS IS ALL THAT THEY CAN DO. Complete ripoff and scamsters. Even the companies they refer u to, do not want to deal with them. They all openly say Motorvaps hates paying.

She was so helpful with my issue regarding the change of my banking details etc, etc (and whát a lot of etceteras) Diane had to deal with.I have never came across anyone as friendly and helpful ever. I will not recommend anyone to take up a policy with Motorvaps. They offer false advertising and false promises. I took the policy in 2017 and never claimed for anything. I was paying R787.70 per month which include service, dents and scratches and tyres. In Oct 2019, when I claim for dents and scratches they refused to help and each quote was R 1090.00. Every time I call, no one will answer until I send an email. I paid for service twice out of my own pocket. Motorvaps is a money making business and a fraud.

Nothing but good service and assistance from Motorvaps, they were sweet and understanding when i had to make an arrangement when i missed my payment cos of financial issues. I missed a lot of payments from other companies this month and they were not very accommodating so it was hopeful to deal with such friendly people. I havent claimed yet but this is a good start to my time with you guys.

This is the worst ever. I called to get a quote on extended warranty and the next thing they debit my account. When I emailed to cancel, the following month they debited again and informed me I had only canceled 1 policy yet I was not aware of having inquired on more than one policy. Crooks!!! I had a service plan with them and every-time I took my car for service, they would give a story to the service consultants. Im glad my plan with them has come to an end. Never will I use them nor recommend anyone to use them.

The worst company I have ever dealt with and I cancelled within 5 months. I took my car in for service and it was at the workshop for a full 3 days just for Motorvaps to pay R1400. All I got from them was poor service, excuses after excuses, unprofessional and a very noisy call centre. I would not recommend it to my worst enemy

Im appalled by this business, service, and disgraceful scam of a setup. I will persue further actions to end this debacle. If i didnt pay the service centre myself, our car would have been standing and damaged due to grifters tactics to avoid paying, exeeding a month. (Still waiting) The bank forced us into this sitiation, and no one should ever have to be conned by these ppl ever again. Sies man!

If you are looking to get an extended warranty on your vehicle, avoid Motorvaps. Unfortunately as one can see from other reviews they will do their utmost to pay as little of your claim as possible irrespective of what cover you might have taken with them.After a crazy amount of arguing I managed to get a third of my bill paid.Their policy wording is such that they have many loopholes to be be able to pay as little as possible. They are also very quick to cite the wear and tear clause, even if it is a clear part failure and not wear and tear.I was told that they had emailed me, and that one of the senior managers was on his way to inspect the damage at the mechanic, but none of this was true.It is not worth the hassle, rather opt for a professional company that you know you will have adequate cover with.

Please do not take up a policy with motorvaps. Between Nahwaal, Tamzin and all the others they offer you promises and false advertising. I have been paying close to R1500 for 7 months now and they tell me that my entertainment system in my vehicle is not covered as was quoted on by them. I will not recommend anyone going to them.

As per Daniels review, I just got off the phone with Motor VAPS regards a warranty claim on a turbo charger. They have hidden behind the wear and tear clause to avoid paying out the maximum amount for a repair or replacement of the unit. In essence they are saying, because I was lucky enough to encounter a major issue with the turbo before it had a sudden and catastrophic failure while driving, it is not broken yet, but only worn and therefore they only cover a small portion of cost. I have tried to explain that they are suggesting it would have been beneficial from a cost point of view therefore to just keep driving until something broke in the engine... except that that approach could put me in danger depending on when and where the unit finally broke. It makes no sense, unless youre a dodgy insurance company looking to avoid paying out to your customers.

So refreshing to finally come akross a company that actually WANTS to help. I have had a waranty with motorvaps for quite some time and recently needed to use it as my car is giving me trouble. I called the number on my contract and spoke to a friendly lady who not only sent me information to several emails that i needed but she phoned workshops around in bethlehem to find out who can acomodate me before the sos towing guys drop my car off. Well done guys, 5 stars from the Liebenberg family!

Terrible, just terrible... my car was taken to a rmi approved workshop for a broken thermostat, the workshop sent the quote of the job which came to almost R5000 for everything to Motorvaps for approval and motovaps only covers for just over R1500 saying its wear and tear. everything to them is wear and tear. you pay every month and when you need the service you pay for then they say you not covered EVEN WHEN YOU ARE. wear and tear is their scapegoat. pethetic.
