Absolutely criminal. They fit 4 new wheels and tyres to my car. one of the tyres was warped and causing my whole front end to wobble around 60-80km. I took it back and asked them to please take a look. They responded by telling me i needed to replace the entire suspension at a cost of R19kMeanwhile not taking responsibility for the bad tyre they fitted.I took it somewhere else, it took the other shop 1 minute to look at the tyre and spot the issue. which was in fact just a tyre. r800 fix, compared to the criminal cost of r19k

Amazing customer service, I have been taking both my Mercedes Benz motors here for 2 years now. I had a gearbox and cam belt done here at 50% less than Mercedes Benz franchises quoted me.

What a pity - this was once a good business when Piet Steyn, the original owner was still alive, but no longer. A straightforward job with no complications (quoted for) increased by 50% in cost overnight. When I had questions about the increase I was met with such an insulting attitude and cheek - what ever happened to good service, honesty and respect for your customer? Unfortunately this is repeated experience at Golden Rule and they have finally lost our entire family as customers. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My car was serviced and front and rear brake pads & discs was replaced but hand brakes were not adjusted. I had to make another trip all the way back to Golden Rule Motors to have that done. They did apologize for the oversight on their part, staff was friendly and Im satisfied with the service. Will definitely return there for the next service on my vehicle.

Great option for owners of older Mercedes vehicles for whom the official dealers have become to pricey relative to the value of their vehicles. Servicing a Mercedes is never going to be cheap, but these guys are open to customising services to your needs and budget. They have the necessary equipment to evaluate your vehicles state and years of experience with mechanics who actually worked for Mercedes themselves. The workshop is in immaculate condition. They clearly take pride in the work they do and the customer service is great. They will pick up your vehicle at your home and return it there if needed (within a reasonable distance I assume). I service our 2000 model Merc C240E there and am very happy with their service.
