PLEASE DONT SUPPORT DISHONEST BUSINESSES!!German Auto is filled with liars and cheats - people with no integrity. Please dont trust them. Took my car in to get the the cooling unit repaired as there was a leak. I was informed by the head mechanic that my brakes were basically non-existent. Although the car didnt give a warning about this and the brakes worked completely fine, we trusted them and bought the parts from Mercedes and gave it to German Auto to repair. After receiving my car back from German Auto (with them having done the brake replacement) my brakes failed. I took it back and was told by the head mechanic that it was an oily belt. While driving away with the car once more the same thing happened. I took it back enraged as they obviously had not fixed the problem. After this, they had my car for 12 weeks, sent it to other mechanic workshops without our consent and kept changing their story. They also got the people that they sent my car to to give a report saying that my pump had an inherent problem. Eventually we decided to take it to Mercedes as the owner was blaming it on an inherent fault on the pump. Mercedes dismissed this claim as there is no way that there was an inherent fault or the car wouldnt have been around for so many years and was working perfectly fine before they touched it, and the report was thrown out. Who ever they had taken my car to had switched my pump with a pump that was never registered to the E280 model at any point during manufacturing. Due to this they could not receive data from the pump to tell us the fault as the guy in charge at Mercedes said it is because this pump never belonged to my car. Even the wiring on the pump was faulty. My car was worse than when i first brought it to them when the brake failed so i wasnt surprised by this news. The owner then went on to deny taking responsibility turning the overall cost into over R 70 000 for us. German Auto is fill of dishonest people who want to take on work when they dont have the proper skill set nor equipment (confirmed to us by the head mechanic) and chose to damage a perfectly working car and then not take responsibility for it

Splendid job was done

Do not support this company.. I took my car for repairs. They stated that the cooling unit of my car was bad so they replaced it with one that made a bunch of noise.. Upon receiving my car back, and driving it 1km, the car broke down.. They also messed up my one indicator.. I then had to call them to take it back to fix it again..

Rented a car for 2 weeks and everything was perfect. Convenient for students and quick.

I had a puncture yesterday night. First thing on Monday morning I went to German auto without any booking. The service was excellent, the workers were friendly and the whole process took only 5 minutes to plug and pump my rear tyre. Very efficient service, and highly recommended (especially for students).

Fml, run, dont do it, anyone but this company. Thieves at their finest... Integrity does not exist here. You have been warned. On a serious note, I really wouldnt want to see anyone else lose their hard earned money.
