I spent 3 glorious weeks in Cape Town and during my stay visited Spier in Stellenbosch where I discovered this amazing artists work quite unexpectedly. I bought a bird carved out of driftwood and its amazing. The guys wrapped it so securely and bubble wrapped that thankfully it survived in my hand luggage back to Cardiff. Ive had so many people say how gifted this artist is and I will definitely be in touch to buy more. The price was in keeping with the piece of art and so I was really pleased. Well worth a visit, he also displays his art in Cape Town watershed indoor market too. Tracy

Great hall with works of art of all kinds. A stroll is worthwhile and you will surely find some souvenirs for yourself or those who stayed at home.

Very interesting small shops where mainly craftsmen sell their products. I recommend the clothing store Love Cape Town, where all the clothes are from Africa.

Worth a walk. Many interesting craft shops. Opens at 10.00
