The exhibits have great information on them and you can always learn a thing or two for that next bar quizz. You can go enjoy a.nice coffee before are after you meander. One of the best sights to see when in Cape Town. The Two Oceans Aquarium is in the middle of the V&A Waterfront and is a great place! The aquarium is clean and tidy, and the enclosures of the animals are pristine. The fish look healthy and happy and there is a very great variety of species to see, including multiple penguin species. The aquarium offers student and elderly discount and children under 4 enter for free! A definite recommend if you are looking to entertain young ones and yourself if in the area!

What an amazing aquarium! There is an impressive array of exhibits, each with its own set of unique sea creatures - I especially enjoyed the penguin and jellyfish exhibits. It is the only option in Cape Town so it is lovely to visit if you enjoy ocean life. The exhibits seem to be well maintained and there is plenty of educational information available to learn more. It is particularly popular with parents of small children and it is very disability friendly with ramps and wide doorways. The only area not set up for wheelchairs etc is the penguin exhibit but if you take the ramp down to the crafts area, you could watch the penguins swimming in the tank there. Remember that if you visit on within a week of your birthday, you can access the Aquarium for free. Just take your SA ID book along and request your birthday ticket.

If I could give you more than 5 starts I would!!!!I love this place. In July I took my only living grandparent for his birthday and then on Monday I came for mine. The staff are friendly and super helpful. The space is neat and clean. The amount of tanks omw omw omw!!! Yes I get lost in anything to do with the ocean.Do not lie to yourself and think youll do a 15 minutes tour. Nope nope nope.I ended up spending almost an hour in the aquarium because I just wanted to take in very very very thing.Awwww had such an amazing timeIf you wat to head there for your birthday, you need to use the ticket on the day you redeem it so plan ahead also you can use it for your birthday or 7 days thereafter. There are Santising stations everywhere. Not too many people in the Aquarium at once which makes you feel safe especially in this level where Cape Towns numbers have been high.Sadly due to covid 19 we couldnt crawl into the Neo aka Clown Fish tank but its understandable. The person who planned out the walking tour route OMW!!! Thank you it helped soo much. You dont get lost like most spaces. It is easy to find your way around. Each exhibit has detailed information on them.Ofcause the penguins enjoy having you stare in awe at them lol and some even make some noises or do some dives and swim around for youMy absolute favorite exhibit is the Jelly Fish!!!!I spend the most time there. Even did some slow motion videos of the jelly fish. Awww they are gorgeous. And all the information sheets help with identifying each of the jelly fish.Ps the space where it says Jelly Babies. Well it is exactly that. Baby Jelly Fish hehehehehe not the sweet. The real living creature. The wall art awwww love love love. The huge tank where the sharks are swimming around happily 😍😍😍😍I cant wait for my next birthday. Think my wish will be for a all expenses paid diving experience at the Two Oceans AquariumLove love love.10 out of 10 for everything!!!Keep up the amazing work.

A wonderful experience at the aquarium.Clean and well maintained. Feeding time was so interesting watching the divers feed the stingray. I will visit as often as I can. I used to volunteer here a couple of years ago and enjoyed every minute. This aquarium is a learning institute and they make a point in teaching young and old about how to protect our oceans and environment. The penguins are my favourite - especially the Rock Hoppers. This is an awesome place to bring your children to spend the day. Feeding time in the Predator exhibit is also a must see. It is a bit pricey but worth the trip and definately money well spent.

Very nice aquarium with a variety of fish. Theres a tank with so many nemos in it! The jellyfish for me personally were the most interesting to see. Theres also a water tunnel that you walk through where the fish swim right over your head. The aquarium is great but since Ive visited the Dubai Mall Aquarium I think its better than Two Oceans but Two Oceans is still worth a visit. The kids will love this place to admire all of the different types of sea life. Also, if you dont want to go all the way to Simons Town to see penguins, youll see a whole bunch of them here.
