GAME KC is the worst ever I hate that you on hold 24/7 or they never pick up... You guys basically ignore peoples calls. And Ive witnessed this calling from inside the store to see whats happening when they transfer me through I must say absolutely ridiculous!!!I can accept the fact if someone misses my call once, twice, thrice but lets say I call the store no one picks up for 10 consecutive times... wow just amazing 👏You dont even deserve a star!You guys deserve a bloody medal for not answering calls!

Placed and order online on the 20th September and to date never received my full order. My first time using game online and a very bad experiance. Nobody communicates I had to email and connect to chat online and my issue is still not resolved. No word about my item purchased or my money refunded if they do not have the stock. No response from game stores..i could not even be provided with a waybill number for their couriers. Very very disappointing

Terrible customer service, had to find a MANAGER to help with a stock query because the people who are responsible for their sections go missing when asked to find stock! The Customer Service desk has one operator for the entire store so the line doesnt even move for 20 minutes! Not going back.

Worst service that I have ever experienced. They never have stock but when you call in the system shows that there is stock. When you try calling you get put on hold or cant get through to them. Extremely annoyed

Game Kenilworth Centre has to be the worst Game in all of Cape Town. Its untidy and nearly impossible to find the right staff member for assistance. And, no, this has nothing to do with the so called renovations. Ive never had a good experience here. Do better!

Absolutely disappointed. I recently went to this branch thinking it would be convenient shopping. My child saw a toy that she really wanted and the price tag pointed straight to the product there was no confusion about anything. At the till the item scanned at R200 more than the price on the shelf. I notified the cashier and when she told her manager about it the manager basically implied that I was lying because the till shows a different price so I asked her to come with me to the shelf so that I can show her. She insisted that I wait at the till while she gets someone to check by themselves in that department. I ended up waiting almost an hour believe it or not because my child still really wanted it. The manager walked past and asked the cashier if I was gone yet and the cashier pointed to me she then told me again not to go to the shelf as she will bring someone to the front of the store. Eventually when someone from that department came through they showed me a tiny doll and told me that I got confused looking at the tags on the shelf I showed them a Pic that I took of the shelf when I went to look for the manager who was taking long. I showed him that there was no way I could have got the prices mixed up because he was showing me a tiny bald baby and in the Pic you can clearly see a baby with blonde hair and the one they showed me was no way there. He still insisted that I was wrong and told me that all of the labels are the same thats why Im confused yet they made me out to be a liar instead of just admitting to their mistake. False advertising. Rude staff. Really wasted so much of my time

Game Kenilworth is really Bad. I bought a Samsung TV of R5000, got Home and Noticed that the TVs sound Must Be put up to 90 to Hear it loud Enought or to just watch a Normal Soapie. Then When We watch Movie via a USB stick then everything Stops and the screen says There is no USB connected. I then Try several USB devices just to Make sure if it is the USB or the TV itself. I then Experienced that its the TV then I had to Return it and its Been 3 weeks now I didnt Heard From Game Kenilworth, I called today 13 times and the 14th Time someone Pick Up and Put Me through to Customer Service to Hang hang on for 30min that uses Airtime.

It is sad to say there are no service in store, you have to go and ask for assistance. Then the person will say its not their department. I bought a TV for delivery. I phoned twice and the person had lunch but he will contact me after lunch. Never happened. I had to phone again to get confermation about the delivery. Also stood at the cigarette counter to buy cigarettes and cool drink, nobody came to help or assists me so I walked out. Must say you expect service but there arent. You have to go search for service.

I complained last year about your incompetent appliance manager when I wanted to buy a stove and nothing was done. Today my pensioner mom experienced the same putrid service from this man who doesnt deserve his title as a manager. He refused to give a price beat on the Hisense fridge because he says MakroOttery) does not have stock so it falls away. Cape gate has stock and we are rather going to pay more somewhere else than deal with him ever again! Call me when he is fired!

Not so big so they wont always have EVERYTHING, and the store can be full a pot Which makes your visit ponger, but no complaints really.Reason for my score is that we bought around R600 worth of baby clothing outside once before we came in, I turned my back from trolley for a couple seconds and it disappeared. Youll notice this happens a lot at this shopping center, but Staff couldnt care less about helping us figure out the culprit, the general attitude when we asked their help was wasnt a staff member as if I was accusing them

I visited here 21 November, one could feel the pre Christmas Buzz, the shop was busy, the staff was helpful to enquiries, I found what I was looking for, so I was impressed with their stock and prices, reasonable, Game has such a wide variety of goods, so next time I need something, I will visit Game in Kenilworth 1st. Parking is plentiful so no inconvenience there, so when looking for groceries to electronic items visit Game Kenilworth.

Bought a TV at Game Kenilworth today. The assistant, Jody Kiewiet, was exceptional. His knowledge of the products was very good and his advice on my purchase excellent. He was kind, considerate and patient (I am in my 70s) and extremely helpful. You have a good staff member Game management. Loyal and honest.

Was told Id have to wait a week if I insisted the delivery charge (for a new dishwasher) be included onto the purchase invoice. However, if I was prepared to pay cash on delivery, without any upfront paperwork reflecting the delivery cost, then they could bypass the process and deliver the dishwasher to me within 2 days. Very suspicious!Eventually got it right, to have the delivery charge included onto the invoice and scheduled delivery for a week later. When it came to delivery date - the unit never arrived, without any calls to explain / update / reschedule.Thank goodness I insisted on the inclusion of the delivery fee onto the invoice. Its been 10 days since the purchase and it still hasnt arrived, Who knows where the unit currently is / when it will arrive?Deliberately drove +-10km away, to purchase a new fridge, from Games competitor, who was able to deliver it within 24 hours.

This place is basically South Africas version of Walmart. They sell everything, including a bunch of stuff you dont need. It is easy to go into such stores and spend unnecessarily, as a bastion of consumerism. However, if there is something specific youre looking for, chances are Game will have it. On one hand, you cant beat the convenience and value of such a store. On the other hand, one wonders about the effects of such stores on local manufacturing and locally owned businesses.

R6,300 has been spent on my Game account without my knowledge. I realized that I didnt receive a monthly statement on April and R700 had been debited instead of R400. I downloaded Game app to see the statement and R6,300 has been spent on the 21 March. I phoned them they gave me an email to send affidavit, copy of my ID and Game card and 3rd of May I did so and I phoned them to make sure they received.Up until today the issue is not resolved instead they still debiting the installment but I reverse it back and now I appear as a bad payer. Ive been explaining to each and everyone of them when they phone me about payment and they seem to understand. The worse part is that Im on errors after they said they will block my card and yet on my Game app everything is on zero (no installment, no available credit and zero owing)

This store has a wide variety of appliances, bedding, paint, hardware, sporting equipment, toiletries and toys. This is plenty more on offer. Watch out for great specials on all kinds of items. Great shop to visit at the festive season. This store is situated on the upper level of the centre but there is parking on same level. The store is wheelchair accessible

Staff helpful. Customer service great. Price for item was 10 percent less than other retail shops. Quite a few tills so no long queuing. Covid regulations strictly adhered to by staff. Public are reminded about regulations. Overall a pleasant experience.

Dont think I will go there again,First I went there a month ago to the TV site, it took me more than an hour to be asked if I can be assisted. And again yesterday I went to the gym equipment site, I ask for help and the guy who works on that area come late playing with his phone and as u was asking questions about weist belt, he just walk away. The problem Ive had for years to be exact 14yrs..is that Game advertises products that when you arrive to shop always has the excuse of supplier didnt deliver or stock sold.. Like seriously on the very first day of being advertised and Im not talking about a black Friday special.. But a very regular thing..I was at N1 City and went as far as Kenilworth Centre which was much worse to be honest. So if this is an advertisement gimmick to haul people to shop at Game Stores it must seriously stop. People dont have time and money to drive or use public services to a place doing fake advertising

Game in Kenilworth Centre is centrally located. Not all shopping Malls have all the big shops under one roof. The service at Game is very good. The staff is friendly very helpful. I was also very happy with my purchase and the sales service

I dont like being pressured to buy, or in this instance to apply for a loan. Despite me respectfully declining, the gentleman kept on insisting: just do a check and then you can take it from there. That is not how it should be, especially when dealing with credit. I understand and can completely appreciate the pressure that goes along with having to make a certain amount of sales for the day BUT that should never supercede the best interest of the customer! It is and will always remain my decision as to when I take on more responsibility.

Unbelievably limited selection of electronic goods. Most of them looked outdated - if your electronic goods arent fresh why would I buy produce here. Met with disbelief and astonishment when I asked for rechargeable batteries, none in the shop and staff had apparently never heard of the concept. Ive seen a better selection of batteries in a petrol station shop in the rural areas. Just shut down now, some things cant be fixed.

I paid for a fridge on 1 July 2020. I was promised delivery to be in the next 2 days. On the third day I called all their listed phone numbers to followup. The staff dont answer calls. I then visited the store and spoke to the salesman Amaan. He rudely responded that he will get back to me by the Saturday. I still had no response from him or delivery of the fridge and its now 6 days later. Their phones still keeps ringing. The other issue was that their Vat invoice showed a much lower Vat amount. On the overall its quite clear that the staff has no motivation to work there. At this stage i am considering asking for a refund.

The next thing when I ask another staff member about the floor managers, they ask me for which department?. GAME is literally the only store whose staff will tell you its not my department.

Absolutely disappointed at this branch, they dont deserve even one star. I wonder if the management team satisfied with their service.I bought laptop two months down the line the caser stopped working,i took it back to the store for service. Well according to them it was fixed, Nokuphiwa Qwathi and her team didnt even bother to give me a chance to check if the device was problem been resolved, fine I went back home after a week it started again 18 May I took it back to the store for service again which was a nightmare I waited for months I went to the store after 24 days as the receipt say if device took more than 24 days the store must replace or give you a refund. They told me to wait they will send me sms. I waited until end of July still no feedback from the store I decide to go back they took the receipt no communication they give me a slip saying that it a refund I mean no one botheres to tell me what was happening. Such pathetic service

It is the most peculiar sensation walking into a store with reverse layout. Bulk of store situated off to the right with a odd layout with household products in central isles electronics around parameter leaving a person a bit dazed and confused. Game being Game, staff hardly visible and the ones that are a bit lacklustre around customer service- I do believe part of the problem being continuously ask where things are in this backwards layed out store.Perhaps time for store revamp, redesign?

No assitant was available to assist with the item I was looking for that was on promotion. After 20 minutes when I finally found someone to assist I was told that the stock was sold out. On numerous occasions when I go to a game store for promotions its always sold out even on the very 1st day. Unbelievable!!! My opinion is that only one or 2 promotion items are displayed on the shelves to draw the customers.

The staff are very helpful and eager to serve but they only knew what was in their individual department, which was not helpful when enquiring about other products. They were not savvy enough to let people know where the products are in the store. When looking for things know what youre looking for and in which department you might find it. Much better results.

Spoke to 6 people to arrange a tablet to be purchased for a man who has had both hips replaced and fell down stair many times lately, he cant walk to the store, before lockdown I use to do his shopping every tuesday and thursday for him and his parents, after 23 minutes the call drops and no one at game seems to care about the elderly, this is sickening cant wait till they are in this position of not knowing if the person you are doing all this effort for is lying dead at the bottom of the stair, this is why I am doing this because we spoke 2 days ago and I now finally have some one who can go past there since I live in a different district and I have no pass to drive! Spoke to sales manager Monty who cant take my payment I must phone online payments again and do it that way until I told him why cant he phone them tell them to call me, at which point I cut him off because now I am just going to complain to H/o for what ever worth that is!

I went to buy a pool table, I had to wait for almost an hour before I could get help. Staff will pass and say will call someone to assist.As I am writing this review I have been put on hold waiting for someone following up on delivery that has not been delivered and 10 days. I have been holding for 40 minutes fortunate I am using telkom land-line just imaging if it was airtime.This is the poorest service I have ever expirienced in any shop.

Super friendly and helpful staff. I went to go buy a new TV and the salesperson helped me pick out the right choice for me. I had an idea of what I wanted but he helped me along the way and ended up saving me R1000. Even when my bank card was having problems, they patient and didnt make me feel embarrassed. Ive bought there a few times and Im always happy with my purchase. Ive bought a mini-fridge, a desk chair and now a TV there.

Needing to buy a cadac cooker top urgently, I couldn’t even get through to the store because it appeared that I dialed their switchboard on an 0861... number. After being put through to the department or store, I held on for just under 4 minutes before I decided to hang up.ITS NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE BATTLED TO GET THROUGH. It is no wonder the Massmart Group find these stores run at a loss. If people could get through to the store, folk might go and buy there!!!
