Totally bad experience.Gave in my Samsung Tv on the 06/09.The repair guy told me the Tv would be done by Friday.I didnt recieve any news the first week.I recieved a call on 13/09 to say my tv was inspected and would i like to go ahead with repair which i agreed to.Im still waiting from feedback to let me know if repair started or not.I called in twice once last week(Friday 10/09/2021) to find out if anything happened and the technician off handedly told me they were “short” with parts.I called in again on my own 21/09/21 to only hear and hope my tv might be repaired by Thursday the 24/09/21.Very disappointed in the service so far as the first technician told me the Tv would be ready by the Friday of the initial week i dropped it.If it was communicated that there was a delay in parts it would be understood but the lack of communication and service will not have me back after this again.

Utterly disgusted with this company. TV booked in on 04/01/2021 and was told there is a 3-5 business day check time. A week later, no response. On 1501/2021 I physically went to check the status and was told the screen doesnt come on. I already knew that. Thats why I brought the TV in. Its now 24/01/2021 and I went to collect my TV and NOTHING was done to it. No a call, an email or even a text message. Seems this is the norm for this company based on other reviews. Not to mention, the staff physically look like they dont want to be there either.

Took my tv for repairs and it was there for 3 months had to call them.They gave me a qoute and they didnt repair my tv I took it to my place.
Repaired our device successfully, however, took long to inform us and we had to contact them to find whether our device had been repaired.
Very receptive and helpful
Communication is non-existant, they sent me a quote same day handing in the tv, I pay the full amount next day, 2 weeks later, and still no word from them. If you dont phone to find out what is happening when and where your grandchildren may be lucky to collect one day.

The only place that could repair my yamaha receiver in Cape Town, amazing that I got it back 2 days later.
I sent my washing machine to them, dropped it off. For two weeks nothing was done. I constantly had to follow up to find out the status of my machine. Spoke to someone who claimed to be the owner, he said there was no fault with the machine, when there clearly was.Then found out that the whole time it had been there absolutely nothing was done to repair it. I eventually went to pick my machine up and had a place called fix it do the repairs. I was very impressed with fix it and would recommend them although a bit on the pricey side.

If i could give them a -5 star rating i would. My logitech bass speaker blew a capacitor and i did show them the two that are broken. All that had to be done is replace the two capacitors as requested. 1 month has passed so I phone them. They are waiting on my console to be able to test the system before opening it, how was anyone suppose to know if you dont contact the client? Very poor service and really bad communication skills. After I brought the console, another month went by and I contacted them once again in lack of no communication to find out what the problem is and why it is taking so long. They then told me they cant repair the speaker. I told them from the start I just need them to replace the bloody two capacitors. After almost 3 months I had to pay a fee to just have a look at it that was R250 odd rand and got me nowwhere slowly. Despite all the, there are new scratches on my bass box and there is a cable broken from the inside as well. A R 6000 sound system down the drain as I said from the start what the issue is because the console does give a error code. Call yourself so called Appliance repairs. Will never suggest anyone to go to them and would warn you TO STAY AWAY from them.
First impression - walked into their repair shop reception and got starred at withou anyone saying Good afternoon, what can I help you with?. Just a colleague of another staff member throwing a hand gesture for the person starring to do something about a customer standing right in front of you.Now I am still waiting for them to answer their calls and provide feedback before they dispose of my product I paid an assessment fee for.First and last.
Made a confirmed appointment 4 days in advance. Did not pitch. When I phoned them they asked all sorts of questions and could not confirm the appointment. Disappointing as they fixed two of our fridges CIRCA 2014 and were on time and good.

I had a faulty Sony Home theater system and e-mailed Western Cape TV + Appliance Repairs. In no time Robin MacNair replied that they were able to assist. We live up country and on arrival, they promised to see if they could repair it as soon as possible, as we only were in Cape Town for the weekend. In the afternoon I received a phone call. My home theater was fixed. When I picked it up, they set it up that I could be sure that it was working properly, as being from far, it is not around the corner to bring it back. Thank you for your kind assistance and professional service rendered to me. I will recommend this company to all my friends and family.
Took in two microwaves for repairs. Asked gentlemen who helped me if they charge for quotations on repairs to which he replied no. Lady phones to tell me what it would cost to repair and my boss decides rather to purchase new. Now I get told it will cost R100 assessment fee per item. I had already told my boss there would be no charge. When collected all excuses made by lady but in my book a rip off. Will never support dishonesty. I was pleasantly surprised by their friendliness and efficiency. I had a 55 Samsung LED TV series 7, (about 6 yrs old), which started switching on and off. I took it to Liptronics (authorised Samsung repair shop for tvs out of warranty), who assessed it and told me that it was the LED strips and that they couldnt fix it. They could only fix the boards, etc.After recommendation by someone, I took it to Western Cape Television and Appliance Repairs on Wednesday. They told it that it would be fixed by the Friday (today). I received a call this morning to give me a quote on the repair cost, which I accepted. They have now advised the tv is ready and Im about to collect it. All of this done in 2 days! Im very impressed and will rather use them for any repairs on my Samsung TVs!Mandrid Blignaut
Paid for them to pick up my TV on 20 Dec due to my HDMI ports not working, called them first week of Jan to get my quote and was told theyd call me back, no call back, back and forth with no calls returned 3 more times and today they give me a quote but mention there is a pixel line through the TV so the screen is broken too.The TV did not have any pixel line before they picked it up but they deny that them transporting it caused it, no insurance on their transport causing this to happen.As far as they are concerned I gave them the TV with a pixel line (and for some reason didnt ask them to fix it?) so now my 48 LED TV is worthless and they couldnt care less that it was them that caused the pixel line (i.e. they deny it was them). Now I need to buy a new TV.
Maybe this place was reputable three years ago. But now, staff are allowed to bully elderly customers and put the phone down in the face of other customers. Poor poor service. Especially since they returned the incorrect machine sent in for repair but deny any responsibility. Shocking!
Absolutely disgusting service. Dont waste your time. Technician Kobus puts the phone down on me after many promises of fixing my machine. Logged a call on 25 January and I still wait for my machine to be fixed. Worst thing is he has taken my motor so I cant get another company in to fix it. I will be taking legal action.

Took telefunken plasma tv to them on 8 July 2016. Called on numerous occassions and received no response. December 2016 and January 2017 ,i was told by receptionist they off line and could not provide me with progress on tv. Called March 2017 and phone was put off. Finally managed to get hold of a Jason in their workshop during August 2017 only to be told they cannot repair our tv and we must come and collect. Worst service ever.
Pathetic service.Ive had a washing machine repaired i September last year.Service technican promised me to have the spin motor springs fitted since mid Jan 2017.I have no choice but to take legal action against this company

Extremely bad service, and lack of communication. After being promised an udpate call regarding the assessment of the item within 3 working days, and despite 3 phone calls and 2 emails to find out the status, over the course of 4 weeks, there was no attempt at contacting me, and nothing was done to fix the item. I will never use this company again.

Mixer has been there for over a year, i call and they say they will call you back but they dont.
Terrible service. Try to find an alternative if you possibly can. I had to constantly email to get feedback. Responses would be sporadic and sometimes taking 2 weeks just to respond to and email.
