The Paragon is a nice hotel with secured entrance & parking. I enjoyed my stay here with my friends. Although others are noting that its a bit noisy due to the large student population, I didnt find it so. My only complaint is that they advertised that there are safe in every room; I didnt find one in my room. It would help for travellers like me if theres a safe in room to store my passport. Id recommend saving the top floor rooms for tourists. Id stay again as its a convenient location to the post office, eateries, and cafes, but with other accommodations nearby Id probably stay elsewhere. I love the Observatory neighborhood. Please keep it clean, safe, and respectful.

Great place to live, close to everything.

Spent 2 nights there and I didnt wanna leave. The apartment was very clean and their WiFi was so fast I was able binge on F.R.I.E.N.D.S with a mountain view. I enjoyed the shower too, the water was coming out just right and I could moderate the temperature as I should be able to, people dont know how important that is. You try to turn the tap to lukewarm while in the shower and the shower just goes straight to winter. Nobody wants that!It was really a home away from home, Everything I needed was there and the food delivery pamphlet was very handy hahaha!Would definitely recommend this place, plus I was closer to my friends res so that worked out perfect for me :)

An exciting place in the making. The Paragon of Obs has replaced a few tatty warehouses, heralding in urban renewal and providing a sense of security to people in the suburb. For its residents, it seems to offer a lot. A lift for universal access, a lovely rooftop garden with splash pool and barbecue facilities. Of course, the whole area is fascinating. Stroll down Eden Road, turn right into Trill Road and go the whole way down to Lower Main Road, renown for its vibrant arty lifestyle, Bohemian cafes and interesting colorful places. Of course, its ideal as a lock up and go for a busy professional or for a student at the nearby university campus.

Enjoyed my weekend. Their stuff is friendly. Enjoyed working out at the gym. Had a great view from my room.

Very nice place on a very noisy road. Its totally useless for resting or holiday and possibly works for working trips where you dont spend the day there.

We had an amazing rest. Perfect view of Table mountain. Stunning self catering apartment with every lil thing you need down to a toaster and something as simple as ovenmit. We absolutely loved this place. The only drawback we had was the view of the cemetery accross the street. But the rooms more than made up for it! Worth a visit.

The worst reception I have ever encountered could not get into the building and after we got in had to wait ages for someone to come and take us to the apartment the area is not safe we did not feel safe at all no aircon in the apartment

Was trying to make a booking enquiry, price and availability, and the staff there was not helpfull at all. The first person I called gave me another nr to calland was not very friendly, the next person also didnt want to help me over the phone and was not at all professional. Ill make my booking at another hotel

I had a terrible view of a garage with garbage bags and dirt on the outside as my view from my apartment i come all the way from jhb to look at this building from all the rooms and manager was not obliging to help very disappointing and they refused to show me the room before I paid
