Absolutely gorgeous apartments that include fridge freezers, washing machines and dishwashers. The security guards are very helpful and always have a smile to share. Security is on point with thumb print scanners for exits and entrances. Great apps to keep up with water and electricity usages as well as to invite visitors.The lifestyle Centre includes a restaurant, gym, conference room, pool and a play area for the kids.EDIT: The restaurant has been changed to a Cafe and their breakfast barely passes as edible. Service has gone down since first I visited, extremely slow and quite impolite.Luckily, the actual apartment and other amenities make up for the loss.Pool isnt very big but still nice enough for a dip. Play area for the kids is very cute with pooh bear themed items including a tree house, slide and other things.Gym is free if you live in the apartments with good equipment and knowledgeable trainers keeping a watchful eye on all participants.They also offer free classes to reach your goals, personal trainers do cost though.The overall asthetic of the area is very sophisticated, with lovely browns and Greys that match the interior of the homes.1 bedroom apartments I recommend to young couples starting out and the 2 and 3 bedrooms apartments would be great for families. Small pets are allowed too and in any apartment.

Very cool complex with stylish features and finishes. I like the fact that it isnt right next to the highway, yet easily accessible. Close to a shopping center, it really is one of the preferred accommodation apartments in Somerset West.

The Jade is a new Estate that is being built by Balwin Property’s. It is my first step into the property game. I purchased a two bedroom unit and I must say I couldn’t be happier. The lifestyle center (Gym, Restaurant, Games Room, Tv Room) is just incredible and is part of your levy for living in the Estate. The apartments are definitely on the larger side if you compare to the property standard. For instance take my flat, it’s a two bedroom that is a 107 Square Meters.I’m very happy so far and can’t wait to see the highest this Estate can reach. Highly recommended!!

Nice development based around the stunning Paardevlei dam. Found Balwin properties to be very professional. Was almost convinced to buy in as an investor.

Live here in 3 bedroom unit since February 2019. Very happy to stay here. Very neat, good security, quiet environment with well planned living center with pool, well-planned and well-equipped childrens playground, The Coffee Deli Restaurant, Pool table room and gym. Pet friendly. Disadvantage is high water and electricity rates because it is outsourced to STss company with high fees. Otherwise, I would recommend the complex.

Would never recommend to anyone. Lived there for a year and so relieved we moved. High up wind is too heavy and unbearably cold, everything else quality inside out is poor, problematic leaks/geyser/appliances/,walls,parking,noisy,extremely expensive utility costs. Not worth the time and money. Only good is security and some staff are friendly.

If youre looking for disappointment and heartbreak, go to The Jade.

No cellphone reception, body corporate refused to let Vodacom put up a tower, which results in security turning deliveries back some of the time. STSS pre paid (W&E) is a nightmare, your electricity bill will triple, they bill inconsistently and there is no support, they ignore queries and never get back to you. Sort out the cellphone reception, replace STSS and the solar provider and things will be much better.

Our apartment is full of mould and the prepaid STSS system is a complete rip off, R2000 on water and electricity for a one bedroom is completely disgusting. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful and neat environment. Very safe blocks of flats with tight security.Place busy to be develope.Cosy entertainment centre with gym.swimming pool and chld friendly playcentre near amenities too.

Rent is on the pricy side. Expect to pay R7000pm for a single bedroom unit with a covered parking bay. Possitives are residents have free access to the lifestyle Centre and gym. The access system for Guests is convenient, hassle free and secure. This is a good compex for young professionals and young couples. I wouldnt recommend it if you have a family though.

Very well kept estate with excellent amenities.

Very Secure, Lovely Atmosphere. A big step up from Living at our previous residence in Stellenbosch. The mobile application/software systems for residents needs improvement. Lots of hassles with trying to set it up. Constant sound of machinery due to new buildings being erected within the development can be a little annoying at times, but one cant expect much else when moving into a New development. Im sure it will quieten down around here in time. Very close to the beach, so for somebody like myself that lives outdoor life and fishing, its fantastic. Also close to BusaMed hospital
