Had a number of issues renting a flat in this building. The first issue I had was electricity usage. The flat I rented on the 6th floor had an issue on the mains switch. When using the stove, the geyser went on, thus using an excessive amount of electricity about 25-30 units just to cook food. The landlord Keith Arnold was informed and never did anything to fix the problem. The other issue was that there was an outstanding balance (previous tenant) on the meter for water use that had to be paid before electricity could be purchased. Then there was a very disturbing noise that vibrates through the walls when the wind blows, it was impossible bro ignore, this was reported to the building management, someone was sent but the issue was never resolved. Once I moved out, the landlord claimed that there was damages to the flat (sliding bathroom door off the track and intercom system hanging from the wall) The landlord Keith Arnold claimed for these damages (R2800 of my R3000 deposit) that were non existent when I left the flat which he visited just a few hours before I vacated. Be very careful when renting from this man who owns a few flats in that building. Do an inspection with the landlord present as to not have dubious claims for damages. The issues will be dealt with in the small claims court. As for the building, there is a major cockroach issue, damp and or cracked walls all round the flat, not a healthy place to live. Noise levels on weekends are constantly an issue with many drunk people singing and or arguing, sometimes up to 4am with security unable to do anything but issue fines or warnings. The squatting opposite the building is a major safety concern, Drugs are openly peddled day or night, Be cautious before renting in this building, there are better options in the CBD.

Good views, cockroach problem-spend money every 2nd month to fumigate, building management can do much more, friendly staff, lots of potential to do more community work, feels like historical district six...my heart belongs here ♥️

Good place to stay...no worries for gum, washing machines just have the gold coin to get your clothing cleanup👌

Corrupt management, failure to provide invoices for storage & parking.Money obviously goes to pocket and not company.Moved property in storage unit for on basement to ground floor without my consent 😏. Changed locks in store roomSo I demanded invoices. To no avail.Contacted Tribunal, so in retaliation my vehicle clamped. Although it states CLEARLY in Tribunal form no action allowed to be taken until Tribunal rule. Yet another unlawful act

Central location perfect for student housing or young couples. the introduction of affordable fibre in the building. This will be the place to live for a reasonable price

Moved in about 2 months ago and am very happy. Well located. Secure. Fellow residents are friendly and the views from the roof are lovely

Central location, great security, nice views. The building itself needs a bit of work, but overall it is a very clean and nice place.

Decent place to live, conveniently located with excellent security. Pool on the roof is great but the wind often renders it unusable, gym in the building is a plus and laundry facilities are useful.
