I was very impressed. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming, and the vet herself was very animal friendly and informative. She made Izzi very relaxed before she removed her stitches. Over all a very good visit

What a wonderful experience my visit was to take my fur child for a small procedure which caused me huge stress! From the efficient and bubbly receptionist Leizl to Dr Michelle Thomas I knew my Jessie was in the best hands. Such care and genuine passion for animals was apparent from the get go. She even took the time to take my Mum out to the car with Jessie when we left. We will never hesitate when in need of this superb service again. Thank you Ladies!

TAH Sonstraal is an amazing Vet !It is rare that a Vet will treat a Pit Bull with respect, care and love, but they treated my boy like family, he felt so relaxed amd at home and he just loved the doctor that cared for him.I must say that for once we are finally having a break though in his allergies !!!He slept for 2 days straight ! No fussing no scratching !Thank you TAH Sonstraal for taking such good care of our Jack D !! We will definitely be visiting you more !Below is my boy, finally happy in his own skin for the first time in his life !

We have now been taking our dogs to Sonstraal TAH for a couple of years. Dr McDonald is caring, compassionate, friendly and very knowledgeable. The store is well stocked and always have a nice treat on shelf for our furballs.

Extremely caring vet!

Agree with other reviews that the attitude is condescending, especially the one receptionist. They are open until 18h30, yet when I arrived at 18h05 she was visibly irritated and informed me they are closing soon and that I cannot just arrive without an appointment. No other TAH has before insisted that I make an appointment for a standard vaccination of my dog. Fully understand if the Dr is busy with other patients, but that was not the case.

Always rude. Always think they know better. And continuously change the way they do things. And when I phone a place whose patients are animals and theyre in the business of being all about animals, I would like my cat to be referred to as a she, not an it.

On my first appointment, when I was delayed and was five minutes away, I telephone to explinain I was going to be five late for my appointment.I was told that due to me making an appointment for a prescribed time I was to make a future appointment and ensure I arrived on time.Today 23 March 2018 I arrived ten minutes before and was made to wait 35 minutes before the doctor was available, no apologies were made for the delay by counter staff.Confused???John BoyPinehurst

For blonde head lady, sorry I asked you for help while you were doing nothing. Will NEVER come to your branch again. Traveled directly from you to the branch in Bellville, and what a friendly bunch of faces from all the lady working there. You do us no favor, its your job, and if you dont like it, get another job for you. You dont even earn 1 star. The two red headed ladies who work there are but the friendliest and most helpful two people.

Not very friendly or willing to help. One would almost think the service is free and we are being shown a huge favor by the staff.
