Contacted Norman (owner) and arranged a site meeting. A time and venue was confirmed and agreed. He asked for photos of the job which I sent. I traveled over 2 hours to attend the meeting and waited 30 min. Norman was a no-show. I also tried to contact him without success. I eventually contacted him and his excuse was they had an emergency and he had to do that first and then he later admitted that he had totally forgotten about our meeting. Do business with this company at your own peril. Not professional at all. From the reviews they are very inconsistent.

Not very impressed with this company. Wanted to get them to come and do quote on balcony enclosures for our complex so that we can sent all the owners a price and supplier details if they wanted to go ahead with the approved enclosures plans. I was told they will charge me R350 just to come and do a quote? How can do you guys except to do business like this? Penny pushing and lost a potentially nice job. Not very professional. I have been busy with other suppliers for more than two months going back and forth with samples and two site visits at no cost. They have been approved now and they will be the only supplier to our complex! Good luck carrying on like this....

I have contacted Norman from Hughes Aliminium more than 5 times. He missed 2 appointments and refuse to respond. Go elsewhere if you need good service

Good customer service and good quality products

Had Norman and his team come replace some our top floor windows from wood to aluminum. He did an outstanding job and his team kept things extremely clean and neat. He will definitely be the first person we call when we do the rest of the house. Admin can sometimes be a bit of a weak point but the overall experience was fantastic.

Useless service. called got a quote easily then he couldnt do the work he was too busy. Called again messaged time after time. didnt arrive for reevaluation and doesnt answer his messages. Waste of time. Not sure if all the positive reviews are his friends. Poor service.

Awesome work. quite neat and tidey. They cleaned up after, just the usual. dust and repainting to be done.

In short - Extremely unprofessional service and several quotes had inconsistancies!! Norman did not even complete job after several promises - ignoring messages and calls, does not respond after my deposit was paid!! Changes terms of agreement, this company is bad news!! All architects should stay away and blacklist.
