Took my Land Rover Defender in for aircon re-gas/inspection. All work done was satisfactory. I did however complained about blue tamper paint on all the exterior screws, which doesnt look aesthetically pleasing. I then received an email from the owner that states Autotron will NOT do any further repairs/diagnostics on ANY Land Rover vehicle (not just mine) as from that point in time. From my perspective, it seems autotron does not take any criticism well.

I took my car in to Autotron to have the central locking system repaired, having read some positive reviews here, and I was not disappointed. Danie provides great customer service and is incredibly thorough in his work. He did a detailed diagnotic of the problem and the overall condition of the vehicle, providing cost estimates for a range of options for the types of parts available and the repairs I wanted done. Everything was very clearly explained and he kept me updated on the whole process. It was also a very pleasant surprise to get my car back so meticulously clean. You might pay a little bit more at Autotron than at other mechanics, but you get what you pay for and its worth every cent.

What a rip off, charges me R3800 for diagnostic tests, and took my car to Mercedes and the technician said scam charges had been added. Never take your expensive car here, its just a backyard operation.
