Mr. Burchell and Ms. Peplouw, owner and reception of this business left fake reviews of their own here?! They cancelled initial appointments over and over again. Continuesly kept lying to us about many aspects... even after being called out on it. They put our family through a very difficult ordeal. Butchered our walls and patched everything half-heartedly together with a mix of crack filler and silicone. The drainage pipe is leaking into the wall. The cage was cut, re-welded, and spray-painted instead of galvanised. There is no communication between Burchell or the front office and their ill-equipped foreign contractors. Worse even, they are being hung up on.

I called Qcool and friendly staff answered the call and understood exactly what I needed according to my sized rooms with decent prices. Was 5 minutes late but nothing to shout about. Technicians did job in 2 days as they encountered problems but efficiently sorted out. Thanks Melissa and staff for the great service.

Dreadful service. wish Id read the other reviews before giving them the job. They took months to do the job, usually didnt arrive on the appointed day and were at least a week late for each visit, did a bit and then left so took multiple visits to get the job done and its still not finished. Cant get them to come back to do a check and finish the job although its been paid for in full. When you phone they are always out of the office and dont return calls. Last but not least they sent me a R15000 invoice for piping which wasnt on the quote. Use them at your peril.

Very bad service, our company had multiple aircon units fitted into our new building. Firstly it took them ages to complete the job and secondly when they did eventually complete the job our aircons wouldnt turn on and we experienced leaks. We have been trying to get them to come back for over a week now to fix a leak but our calls never get returned and they always have excuses as to why they cannot come and fix a problem they have already been paid for. Very very bad service and we would not recommend them to anyone, rather save your money and go with someone else

When you hear the name Qcool you best run. I have rarely encountered a more incompetent outfit. They do not communicate, the owner does not return calls, the employees are rudderless, their technicians should not be let loose on the public. I am faced with a massive bill after they attempted to service my aircons.

Similar experience as bill below, zero service once you have your installation done. i get a ch05 error on my aircon when it rains, also a very noisy compressor compared to the 2nd identical aircon i have in another room. for 8 weeks now i have been given different days and times on a weekly basis that they will be arriving to fix it, today they had another excuse as usual.be warned there is no after market service, thankfully my unit was still within the 6months of age so i can pursue this now through cape town government consumer protector and get a choice of replace,repair or refund. i think i will go for refund!

Booked a service, they didnt pitch. I called, they then said they would come later same day, didnt pitch. Said they would come following day, didnt pitch. Asked to speak to Manager/Director - not in the office. Very unprofessional will be discouraging friends from using.

Stay away from Qcool. Kept postponing installation date after me taking days off work. Now compressor noisey . Theyve started their nonsense again. Been waiting all morning for them to come and sort it out. Now again its tomorrow, tomorrow!
