While the service was good and the seeds arrived, I was very disappointed that not a single one of the 30 speciality chili seeds which I ordered from Seeds for Africa germinated. During the same time I planted various cheaper seeds that I bought from another store which had great success. I think you should reconsider the supplier of your Chocolate Fatali, White Trinidad, Ghost Pepper and Carolina Reaper seeds.

I rate SFA a 5star as they are really excellent in service delivery... They are reliable and delivery time are with in 73 hours. I recommend them for their good governance and super responsiveness to the needs of their clients. My seeds will be sow beginning Autumn and I see the results next year. Ordered a few times from them both flowers and vegetable seeds and none of the seeds germinate, even under the correct environment and following their instructions. My seeds collected from my kitchen scraps and local hardware germinate without a problem. The baby marrow seeds I bought from them struggled so much and eventually died but had bought another brand and sowed at the same time under the same conditions and those did well and are currently producing. Something is amiss with these seeds! And you waste your time and miss the season times waiting for their dud seeds!

Packaging was very neat and professional. I received a little bag of fertilizer which was very nice. For any communication refer to Kelly. She responds promptly to any queries. I see theres quite a few reviews with complaint to the seed success. I have done the whole seed thing so many times, successfully so I will be reviewing my review after I see what the success rate is with the seeds and the germination etc.

The service and variety is great, however, if I buy seed I expect them to grow. The germination rate on their seeds is lower than 10%, with some seed packs not growing at all! DO NOT BUY SEEDS FROM THEM! The saffron bulbs that they sell are great. I have seeds from other online retailers that I get between 80 and 100% germination from, that are older and stored in the same box as the Seeds for Africa seeds. The only seeds from them that have germinated are the complimentary sunflower, arugula and corn seeds they add to your order. I have tried more than 15 of their seed varieties with no luck! Rather try Living Seeds for food crop seeds or visit you local indigenous nursery/ nursery for flowers and fruit seeds or plants.

Ordered a variety of vegetable seeds. Was a waste of money. Not one of the seeds germinated. Very disappointing. The only seeds that worked for me was the ones I used from the fruit and peppers I bought at my local store. I bought packet of seeds this time, from Starkes Ayres for eg.

I have got seeds twice in 2 years. Both times the germination rate has been terrible on the tomatoes, broccoli and squashes. I know its not something I am doing wrong because my yield from nursery purchased seeds and seeds harvested from squashes myself have been excellent in the same season. The corn grew wonderfully, but thats about it. Service great but product not so much

I cant believe I am saying this put i put my seeds on jiffy pods on Saturday,I wake up today and 6 different herbs have sprouted already, I planted 50 pods in total of a variety of herds, saffron, rocket, arugula, basil and parsley have sprouted on of each, I am so happy with this purchase

Delivery time is great!Unfortunately the organic seeds are very bad quality. Almost 80% of seeds ordered did not germinate (black beauty eggfruit, all sweet watermelon, ashley cucumber, tall Utah celery, queensland blue pumpkin, nantes scarlet carrot) and those that did germinate were of bad quality and did not produce a good fruit or no fruit at all. The runner bean seeds (Kentucky wonder pole bean) had mosaic virus.Waltham butternut produced only one fruit!!Detroit dark red beetroot produced well but were more tasteless than non organic seeds.There are better seeds producers with lower prices. Seeds for Africa are not one of them.
