Dr Biebie is an amazing woman! When I decided to come out as a woman, she was the first person I contacted thinking she was a psychiatrist. She pointed me in the direction of an actual psychiatrist and told me to come back for voice training, as thats what she does! But that just goes to show how connected and helpful she is to trans people! (She did lend her ear to my trials and tribulations of coming out, which very few people are actually clued up about - so in a way, she provided some therapy!) Needless to say, I started her 11 week course with gusto and enjoyed each session with her - and never have I had homework which was so enjoyable! Week by week, I saw my pitch increase and the lower male frequencies of my voice started to disappear! It was amazing to see the results as time passed! Each week, my voice getting stronger than the last. I recommend Dr Biebie for anyone who wishes to change their voice in any way! Not to mention all the other speech skills and improved eloquence one would acquire by doing her course - invaluable skills to have a science communicator (which I am)! Thank you Barbara!

When i first started course, I wasn’t truly sure if i wanted to it. However as weekends went by, my family noticed my verbal communication has been improving. I have never taken a course of this nature before and was curious how successful it would be. Since the course was also taught remotely, I wasnt sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by the whole process. Barbie Teaches Winners.I became aware of Barbara’s great work through a friend, whom like me, was not fortunate enough to go to multiracial schools nor well equipped schools that would have put us at an advantage of becoming fluent English speakers. The friend spoke with a much-improved accent and I was amazed as to how he managed to do that, knowing very well our shortcomings when it comes to the English language. He told me about Barbara. Immediately I started deciding to enrol for the classes.Besides the English lessons, Barbara offered life changing advises and she was always concerned about the students well being before anything else. She offered more than English classes. Her professionalism, reliability and punctuality served as encouragement on its own.On the actual English classes. Barbara, is not aware that she is offering a new discipline when it comes to language and literature. What a call the Physiology and Psychology of the English language. It is physiology in a sense that she taught me how the body works in relation to speaking and reading. I finally understood why she always said, “I will train your voice when we discussed terms of the lessons”. Postures, breathing and voice projection. Something totally new to me. It is psychology in a sense that she worked on the mentality of speaking English as well. Sometimes we use the right words, pronounce them correctly, but what lacked is the confidence to speak, especially amongst those we think a fair and fluent English speaker. Barbara worked on that and instilled confidence in me. She eliminated self-doubt.All I can say is, I am better English speaker and I am benefiting much from her classes. As a founder of my own business, I wanted to improve my decision-making skills, so I approached Barbara about her life coaching lessons. After carefully listening to my concerns, she recommended I take her self-awareness lessons first, which I did.The class was beneficial, and it has given me the tools to deal with specific issues blocking my progress that I did not have the emotional courage to deal with. Gradually, I have begun addressing those issues and removing the roadblocks.Its going to take time to eliminate them all, but I am on the right track. By providence I found her via Instagram. I purchased her service after our consultation via Skype, because her being an African was relatable to me, and most importantly she understood my culture. Her love for our LORD was definitely a plus.Our lessons are done one-on-one via Skype, a blessing given the current environment. I was not expecting a quick result, given studies have shown speech difficulties are best treated at an early age.
