Working for them is a joke..they dont pay the staff the over time or give us pay slips..management is a joke they dont even know what they doing ! I give them half a star. Go for anther security company!!

At howick, they think they own the parking lot, by parking in a disabled parking to do their own business, are they allowed to do this?

Very efficient and very successful operation

I cannot give my opinion as to their service. I wanted home security in Newholms Pmb and apparently they only offer service to the Mountain Rise area. M17 excellent all round

I have had Magna security for over 3 years now... And i can honestly say that there is absolutely NO security company that could possibly keep up to the high standards of Magma Security. From the staff at the call center who call to Inform you that the alarm is going off... To the armed response... These guys are so well trained and so well mannered. I have dealt with other armed response companies and the call center staff are rude... Have no telephone etiquette.. And speak so poorly. The Magma staff are phenomenal... Even at night when the alarm goes off and im woken from my sleep by the call... The staff are so aware that the client was asleep and they speak so politely, that I never feel shocked or taken aback. These little things are what makes such an extraordinary business. Needless to say.. In terms of the armed response, they are always at the house in minutes and ready to help. They are totally fearless and aware of each property and what should and should not be on the property. These guys do not just do this as a source of income, they passionate and professional about what they do. I must also say that the installation and repair guys are also very helpful and professional. I can honestly say that I have a good nights sleep because I know that I am protected by Magma Security. I probably would not have even chosen to live on the property I live in if it were not for them. You guys rock. And I am so greatful for the protection and peace of mind you provide us with. If you are looking for an armed response company, there is no choice to be made, it simply has to be magma security.

Having moved house 2 months ago, and following countless emails to the inept office staff, we are still getting woken up in the middle of the night by the call centre telling guys the alarm is going off. Their response teams are brilliant but office management is pathetic.

Just signed up with Magma today after hearing great things from people. They literally came in and set up everything in 5 minutes. Unbelievably efficient. They look like a SERIOUS security company. Looking forward to great service.

I am a contractor employed to do some work in Pietermaritzburg.I was working late this evening and at 6 o clock a magma response vehicle pulled up and the security guy started shouting at me about leaving the gate open and stealing the lock. I denied this and the argument got heated. The security gard then asked me do you know how many bullets he would put in me.These guys are reckless and irresponsible
