Real Afrikaans hospitality!! We arrived late without prior booking and yet no stone was untouched to made us feel welcome! We had a spacious en-suite room in a house to ourselves!! This almost felt like home away from home!! Breakfast was a real farm breakfast enough to last anyone until way after lunch! Our hosts were very helpful in assisting with our route ahead since they travel too! Will definitely stop here again!!!

Our hostess, Joey, was very welcoming and attentive. We stayed in Rolbos Guesthouses secondary location. It is well-located on a quiet street. The items available to buy are a nice touch.

Rolbos Guesthouse in Calvinia in the Hantam. This is a good place to overnight. With such beautiful owners like Joey and her husband we stay for years with them on our way to Upington.

We have been staying at Rolbos since 2005 on our way to Kgalagadi. Joey and Frikkie Rootman are the perfect hosts, always trieng to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
