This is one of those place that when you leave you feel enriched, the best hosts and atmosphere ever. I just love going there time and time again.

I would recommend this place a thousand times over. I spent one night there and fell in love with owners, shes now my most special friend and we always stay in touch. I started my trip out of South Africa by meeting them and Im so glad that I managed to meet such amazing people before leaving my home country. Youll feel at home right away... She will always be welcome in my home new home in Portugal or any where I am in the world. Its not just an honor to know her but the accommodation was spectacular. They Squeezed fresh orange juice for me and gave us a great breakfast. I could go on for ages, the art work, the car door for a fence, the incredible collection of everything... True artists, true people and that place will always have a special place in my heart. When I visit SA Ill make sure I go back for a visit. I met them on one day but feel like Ive known them for a life time.

What a fantastic cosy friendly home away from home. If you plan on visiting Calvinia take a few days to stop at the Magic Garden to recharge and let your creativity run wild.

They really took care of us and went out of their way to accommodate our requests and make us comfortable. Cosy atmosphere, lots of space to lounge around inside and outside. Eclectic must-see-it-for-yourself decor and furniture. They love animals and all their dogs are rescued, your pets are welcome.
