Wow what a beautiful place to visit, we camped however there is chalets to rent. All guests were super quiet. Warm springs & cold pools. The staff were extremely friendly and welcomed us without a booking. There were birds and small antelope around

I am in love with this place. Love the Klein Karoo and this place provides all you want. Peace, quiet in nature. Hot and cold swimming baths, lots of animals and birds, restaurant.... what more do you want.

We stayed in one of their units. Specifically the Kudu unit. We had everything we needed, the unit is well equipped. The staff are very friendly and eager to assist with anything. The Spa pools were amazing. This is not our first stay at Karoowater. We have also stayed in the caravan park and even that was awesome. Well done guys, keep it up.

Karoowater Guest Farm is a great place to relax and unwind in two lovely warm undercover swimming pools. The restaurant and bar provide forrefreshments and light meals. While the spotlessly clean and very comfortable chalets made our visit most enjoyable. Combined with friendly staff and management, this is a resort to be recommended

A great place for a relaxing time away from the busy city life

Great welcome. Resort management ensured that we had hot spa water, even though Eskom loadshedding was in progress. Loved the hot spa pool during the cold winter nights👍🏼👌

Great campsite for busy kids...hot pools, cold pools, water slide and a very nice playground. Only 15 min drive from Calitzdorp via tar road.

The hot springs are indoors and ablutions really good. All round good value

Lovely play area for the kids, relaxing hot water pool, great food at the restaurant.Great experience altogether - uncomplicated, serene, natural.Only concern:I felt worried on behalf of the monkeys when the cold wind became strong, they had very little shelter in their enclosure, only 3 dog houses. One monkey looked as if he was shivering.

We wanted to come in as a day visitor, stood at the reception for 15 min. The there were a couple infront of us, the lady helped her and as we approached the window she turned her back on us and left. We waited while she made a pizza with no acknowledgment from her, we just ended up leaving

During the week there is a pleasant quiet atmosphere but on weekends it seems that there is no control on the number of people occupying units.

Absolutely a stunning place. Everything we wished for and more. Will definitly recomend. Kids had so much fun and i enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, the peace and quiet and most of all the hot pools!! Amazing time we had.!!

The drive along the old highway through the Ostrich farms and small villages was surreal and built up our excitement to the destination. Karoowater Guest farm is a green oasis in the dryness. The facilities impeccable the baths delicious. Not to hot so one may enjoy an entire day soaking up the minerals and quietness. The children are well entertained in a very safe and secure environment with friendly staff lovely creatures all around. So much to witness and see while totally relaxing in this beautiful environment. The chalet was stunning everything we could need was there and the old teak wood kitchen beautiful. Sparkling clean and fresh. I would highly recommend this farm for a peaceful calm off the beaten track escape. Just lovely.

Great customer service and good sanitary habits during covid 19.The natural hot water swimming pool is a little cold so I was disappointed with that.But the occomidations and camp sites are neat and well looked after and the scenery is beautiful.

Clean en fun for the kids with the warm and cold pools. They love the slide into the cold pool. It seems to turn windy late afternoons which lasts for 2 to 3 hours but if you camp next to some sheltered off area it is fine.

Nice camp site. The staff keep the grounds nice and clean. Theres springbok roaming free throughout the park and other exotic wildlife can also be seen. The hot baths are nice, especially as theyre indoors but in the summer months the super tube is great fun. Theres a nice bar and restaurant on site as well. The only criticism I would give is the hot water in the ablutions. If more than 1 shower is used at a time you run out of hot water.

Nice quiet little place. Everything looks clean.Staff could be friendlier. The kids love the slide and pool. Not much to do but relax by the pool and enjoy the hot springs. Id recommend the chalets in the lower section, especially if you have kids. Lots more to do there. Will go again.

They turned on the slides just for my family in winter. A lot of fun even in the cold.Got baths could be hotter but apparently it naturally varies.

Nature setting with lots of swimming and open spaces - natural hot water indoor pool . Has all the amenities. Name has changed to Karoo Water. Perfect safe place to see all the stars at night!

Friendly and nice atmosphere

We had an awesome time staying here. The campsites and amenities are clean and well thought out. Free roaming Springbuck, supertube, natural hot springs. Just an amazing place.

Beautiful! Our chalet (Oppi Koppi) is perfect for family, 2 bedrooms! Service 100%! Family orientated, save for children! Would like the warm inside pool a little bit warmer in winter, but otherwise perfect! Nice restaurant, good service!

We just stopped by for something to eat and stretch our legs. Well what a disappointment. We ordered a muffin with cheese and jam and a roosterkoek with cheese and jam.The cheese was frozen and had all sorts of flavours drawn into it from the fridge. The jam was close to its expired date but also semi frozen. Above all this we had to wait 40 minutes for these 2 items. Just for it to arrive as old as the mountains. Although the views are beautiful the service does not make up for it.

A lovely place to relax and unwind in the warm, therapeutic waters of the hot springs. The overnight room was clean and the extra blankets made the cold nights a breeze. Elmarie was so friendly and helpful. Only drawback was that the restaurant closes at 5pm. Highly recommended.

We are campers. And Karoowater was just what the doctor ordered. The campsites with the braais is well maintained. a Bit of kameeldorings but just walk carefully.The hot baths are nice, especially as theyre indoors. The staff keep the pools nice and clean. The water tube to the could swimming pool are fun.The springboks are roaming free throughout the park and other exotic birds can also be seen. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Thank you for the great service and friendly atmosphere. Will visit you soon.

We had a nice Easter camping experience, children enjoyed warm water pools as well as the cold pools. They could have a look at their showers and the toilets, too few to service so many people. Hated the animals in cages, loved the Zebra and Springbok!

Its safe, neart and tidy. Nice restaurant, lovely cold pool with slide for children, park to play in. Hot pools under cover, most relaxing. Khoi fish which you can feed with fish food bought on site, geese share the dam, monkeys, parrots under huge cover. Springbokke walk tamely around park. Stunning chalets. Great Staff.

Best place to be....children absolutely love this place...friendly staff..only being of great help and would go the exstra mile for campers. Well looked after animals.....very clean and tidy ablution blocks....awesome restaurant and hot mineral water to relax in. A must go...

Very beautiful and nice

Place has probably seen happier & more prosperous times, but I spent a charming couple of hours at a family event there. The food was surprisingly good. The 3 course meal was memorable for being unusual and inventive. Always lovely to see a huge pond filled with fish and populated by water birds. Low hanging nests over the edge add to the rustic nature. There are some smaller monkeys and parrots in large enclosures and the animals seem to be looked after.Well worth a stop over if youre anywhere near. Watch the road conditions from Calitzdorp. Its a bit rough and bumpy!

So peaceful, there are wild animals to be seen, children can play in the pool. Not to over populated by people.

A great spot in winter. Nice hot mineral bath/pool (small), and a good sized warm swimming pool. These are indoors and open 24 hours. Pity restaurant not open in evenings in winter. We stayed in a basic self catering chalet; not a superior. Comfortable with all you need. Understand, this chalet option is not the Ritz, but rather a budget chalet. But at a price not much more than it costs you to camp at some other places, it screams value.Two outside water slides which appear only to be used in summer season. I felt this information should have been mentioned when booking.Staff are pleasant and make an effort. Hostess/manager Elmare goes the extra mile: our outside braai light wasnt working. Next thing we had an extension cord and light plus more than half a dozen energy saver lights. The following day the outside light was repaired.Karoo (Calitzdorp) sunrises and sunsets are food for the soul.We going back in December.

We decided on the spur of the moment to go camp and were pleasantly surprised by how lovely the experience was, well be back!!

Some areas are beautiful and well cared for, but I didnt like the monkeys in cages,I understand that they were probably pets that people got tired of, but it is sad that they have to stay in cages. This place has great potential but I think that part of the R62 is neglected
