We had a nice lunch here on our stop in town. Our food was great, particularly the bobotie.

Super good kitchen and very personable staff. Excellent cuisine. French is also spoken. As it is run by a Swiss & French couple. Really highly recommended restaurant

We ended up going somewhere els because the church bel across the road rang every 15 min 24/7. Accommodation was great though. Large clean room with air-conditioning.

Friendly staff and quaint, historical building. The food was very disappointing. We visited the restaurant on a Sunday evening and it seems that the lasagne had been reheated many times as it was hard on the outside and tasteless. Their chicken pie was obviously heated in the microwave when rendered the pastry soft and soggy.

The Dorphuis Guesthouse is easy to find, at the Shell garage simply turn into Van Riebeek Street, then travel a short distance.
