Our stay was absolutely amazing. The accommodations were at the highest standards and the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and organic.Staying here was one of the highlights of the trip and will absolutely visit again.Thank you for your good hospitality.

I just want to give a big thank you to Ian, Louise and the lovely ladies at the estate for being so accommodating and making me and my wifes honeymoon so special. Our stay was so peaceful and the room was alot more spacious than we initially thought. The service we received for the week that we stayed at this lovely, picturesque establishment was absolutely extraordinary. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. Not only was the breakfast delicious but we also got very helpful recommendations on places to visit during our stay. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Very disappointed. We were expecting supper only to be told when we arrived that they dont serve dinner. The room was comfortable but only to wake up to a cold shower. No hot water.

Beautiful setting, spacious and luxurious accomodation, clean, refreshingly tidy, friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately the restaurant has been shut down due to Covid travel restrictions. We were informed prior to making the booking and simply had our meals elsewhere. Lets all hope that as business picks up, the hotel will resume full operations.

Amazing experience. Lovely property, great rooms, quiet and peaceful atmosphere, and the friendliest operators of the restaurant on the premises you can think of. Josh and his wife prepare wonderful dishes - delicious breakfast and dinner. Its already worth coming here just for the food. I totally recommend this place.

Beautiful secluded gem. Amenities are limited given the area but everything you need is provided by wonderful staff. The perfect place to experience the quiet of country life with all its simplicity.

Now I have time to write a nice review- we did not have time to get our act together to book into the hotel- which looked really super- by the way! But we did book the New YEars dinner and it was SUPERB!Chef gave us a special meal, as we are vegans , delicious and filling. We sat outside for a bit and enjoyed the quiet and cool night- the stars and the good wine! Thank you and will be back soon!

Loved every minute. Amazing hospitality and friendly people. The food at the restaurant run by Saeed and Erica was incredible. Lamb shank to die for. Cant wait to come back to try the other dishes. You guys rock!

Beautiful place and warm friendly staff. We had our wedding on the farm and it was the most blessed day ever. Would recommend it to anybody who wants to experience nature and its beauty at its best.

Spent 2 nights at Rotterdam and was pleasantly surprised by how lovely our stay was. We had a peaceful and comfortable stay, the food and service were unbelievable. We are vegans and the couple who run the restaurant went out of their way to make us the most delicious dinner and breakfast. Hope to make it back there soon

We arrived on Monday afternoon and was greeted with friendly people and beautiful venue. The rooms and stylish, spacious and just...well....bloody amazing. It was nice and quiet and had the lovely farm feel to it. What was really amazing was the lengths that Ilse and Rottardam Hotel went to make our stay extra special. Ilse, you are the best ever. Thank you for everything. The restaurant probably gave us the best breakfast I had in many year. Really, really, the best place ever.

Really lovely place to get away with a group of friends or family. There isnt much to do around there so its definitely a spot for braaiing, lounging by the pool and just enjoying the company.

Glorious meals! Pork belly with beautiful veg and apple and muscadel jus. Another in our party had tripe which was beautifully prepared and the last had lamb shank with mash, seasonal veg and a red wine and rosemary jus. Great hospitality and a beautiful setting.

Thats how we imagined South Africa holidays !!!It is a beautiful farm overlooking a mountain range. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. Always accessible via phone or whatsap ... the farm owners are super friendly and welcome every welcome.Finding the Rotterdam Farm is not so easy but eventually it will work out. You drive along a longer gravel path along an avenue, directly to the Manor House.The rooms are beautiful and clean. The building is reminiscent of a time many years before our time. Beautiful.Very clean!!!!Dss food in the adjoining restaurant is prepared by Joshi and his wife. Two wonderful people with a lot of history. Make sure you talk to them ... it will be worthwhile. Joshi is by far the best cook Ive ever met. Initially, we just wanted to have breakfast .... in the end I would have liked to pack Joshi for the rest of our trip :-)He seems to me like Rattatoui ... He loves his job and lives what he does there. An amazing cook!We are about 4,500 km from the northeast Mpulangas arrived by car ... and on to Cape Town ... believe me ... stop here ... you will not be disappointed
