Beautiful , and its the safest place ever,fun for all young and old... Monkeys running wild.... surrounded by nature what more can you ask for.

Nice resort with potential but management have complete lack of safety precautions. The river overflowed its banks and flooded the bungalows and chalets. Not one employee/management made any effort to make sure that campers was safe nor do they have any evacuation plans in place. When it was bought under the receptionist(Anet if Im not mistaken) attention that the river overflowed at 3h00 in the morning, she thought it was funny. I sure hope that she wont laugh if somebody loses their life. Will not go there again as my life is worth more than a laugh.

Situated close to Hartbeespoort dam. Fishing available. Caravan park. Rent a furnished comfortably cottage. Well prized. Tuck shop on premises.

Beautiful places to relax

Beware Criminals Live There. You take a big risk supporting this resort they harbour criminals and have very shady business dealings. Seriously dont support them.

Great spot on the banks of the crocodile. Nestled in a quiet meander of the river. Good for bbq and relaxing with friends and family. Some light fishing can be done also.

Great to get away from the city and explore nature

River very shallow at some points, and the water moved very fast but we managed to get a few fish out.Cabin was nice and clean.Kids enjoyed the pool.Very quiet at night and no crime issues.We loved the view.We will come back again.

The Owners and Aletta are the biggest scamming ripoff criminals. I have had the displeasure of them fraudulently stealing my deposit after living there for a year. They scammed with me with another women by the name of Doret Ackerman of R15000. Any dealings with these criminals is at ur own extreme loss. Dont support these frauds they deserve to go under.

We went for fishing, the welcoming was poor. The accommodation was a fail and i left the resort a day early. Till today no call to ask why we left. We also did not receive our deposit back after leaving the place the way we found it. Please do not visit this place it will be a disappointment. To say the least

Great fishing spot, clean grounds and toilets. Electricity available in grounds. Small shop at reception too. Staff is friendly. Area is quite big so you can easily find a private spot. Bring the family and camp out ;)

Photo taken October 21 2014. Always thought it was deeper in the middle... Still a great place to go relax, pitty the Krokodil River is one of the most polluted rivers in South Africa, Its quite sad.

Went their for a day, dont really know how the accomadation is like but seemed ok but as far as fishing is concerned their is no fish in that river wether its the water levels that are low or over fishing not sure.

Hi everyone.I am absolutely crazy about the resort.I have not had a disappointment once (whiny) you never catch less than 8 fish on a bad day.Children sometimes get tired of fishing then they can go swimming in the pool where there is always someone to keep an eye on.There is a shop on the resort where you can always get cold drinks etc without having to drive far.Is there.I am ready to go fishing anytime anytime. feel more at home.I love the chalets that are directly on the water.You just sit on your porch and drop the lines.Will not mind at all to just stay there it is stones throw from jhb.
