Such an awesome place to dive! I was learning and seeing all the cool items at the bottom of the lake was awesome. Busses, a plane,a boat or 2.

Very peaceful and beautiful views. Nice little shop with good bottomless coffees. I discovered some beautiful Aloe plants close to the exit. My hubby and his friend like to practice freediving here. I freedive in summer when it is warmer.

Owners put alot of pride in this establishment. Well kept. Good for practicing.

Very friendly and willing to help. Diving as you would expecr for an in land site. Have add another bus and plane at approx 15m depth.Have also got security watching as thefts stopped diver clubs going to the venue. Kitchen closed and now only open from Friday to Sunday. Very few divers in June.

Great diving spot, beautiful venue and underwater sites are amazing... Great variety for divers of all experience levels and a great social spot for weekends or day outings.

The diving is good, but the dam is very dirty and in turn makes the visibility very limited. Owners are wonderful and service is very good.

Amazing to going Diving

I went there with my hubby and one of his friends to practice Freediving, and we really enjoyed it. Freedivers have their own unique entry point right next to the restaurant. Awesome experience. I do recommend this place for practicing. The water was a lovely 28 degrees, not too cold and nice and clean with a green reflection on the inside.

Great safe inland dive spot near Pretoria. Inside you will find cars, boats, airplanes, helicopters, training grids and many fish.

A good location for diving lessons and obtaining your scuber qualifications. The visibility varies however I recommend making your dives on a Saturday as opposed to a Sunday. The previous day divers tend to kick up the silt and decrease visibility

Current conditions are great... 5-8m visibility, 25° water and only an hours drive from Joburgs northern suburbs...

I had my first diving experience here and it was everything and more that I couldve imagined. We were there early in the morning and got everything ready and geared up for our first dive. It was an incredible experience. Would recommend to dive here no matter what level of experience you have.

The visibility wasnt too great on account of the weather, but great fun diving there again

The last 2 times the water was the cleanest ive ever seen it with a viz of about 10m. It is getting a bit pricey with entrance qt R140.00 per person

Really great spot. Chalets are a little bit run down. But the management is friendly and helpful. The dive is always nice

This a good dive training venue. It is just an open cast mine but fit for purpose. They have good friendly staff to make this as comfortable as possible

Nice inland diving site. Warm clean water with nice facilities

Wasnt a bad trip but the overall visibility was terribl as a new diver this was quite unsettling as I lost track of my partner early on during the dive. Coukd barely see a meter ahead. The owners were however very kind. Is a nice relaxed trip if you are looking to get in a quick dive to refresh.

Friendly people. Neat and tidy. Not glamorous or fancy, very basic, Ablutions clean. Breakfast not bad value for R45.

Practical site for training, learning new specialties and honing scuba skills.In the summer the water is not clear and visibility is very low. In the winter the water is crystal clear but the water can get really very cold. Wrap up warmly and make sure you bring a kettle@The owners are very friendly and helpful.We always have a lot of fun... take time to braai while you are there.

The lake has good facilities but if you are in the water for more then 15min the visibility drops down to less than a meter

Highly disappointed. Website says open on public holidays. Went today all the way from Fourways just to find the gate closed. No one answering the phone. Some info on the website or leaving an info on the answering machine wouldn’t been asked too much

Visibility was poor and water smelled like sulphur.

We use it regularly for Open Water Scuba lessons, however the visibility of the water is terrible due to a lack of action by the owners to clean up the water.

Our piece of the sea in Brits...

On arrival packed at the drop off grid house ... after 3 hours it is said we are not allowed to braai there for the day ... is it booked? No other cars came in to that side. Guys, everythings going to be sorted out in the office ... so were notified if you leave premises at the gate ... you need to hand in a paper. Had to turn around and scratch in a black bag to get paper.
