The owner of the farm Ockert Werner is a violent, antisocial bully who has repeatedly abused and assaulted farm workers and people from the Brits community who refused to subjugate to his orders. He behaves like a typical apartheid thug who likes to beat black people. The May 14th episode of Checkpoint on ENCA covered some of the misconduct of this sociopath.
