Store is good and massive variety of items. The staff are very lazy. They make you load your load own trolley with heavy items.they stand around and talk to each other. Little to no management present

The staff follows Covid Rules 🤩 They are patient and professional. My husband asked me to get a pipe connection and we took picture... got to the store and could not find it, then asked one of the staffer and he was patiently looking at my phone where I took the pictures. He was rushing me or making me anxious ... hot the connection. And then the Tellers were even more friendly 😃 if I can give the store a score, it would be 8 for the staffer and 2 others Tellers. Well done Build It Brakpan 10 out of 10.

Maybe then just an off day. Worst service ever. Waited half an hour, spoke to four guys asking if someone can help me. Each time no sorry cant find someone working at plumbing. Well, spend my money at Mica. I will not be returning soon.

Nicely stocked. A large selection of lower quality products, then there is way expensive stuff. They lack affordable quality products. Made in china or Brand names. You have money or you dont.

My favorite hardware, not too crazy about the staff. Always feels like im disturbing their day. But over all I will put up with the rudeness and attitude of them for the sake of the product. I would suggest maybe taking a day and traning the staff in what is sold in the shop. They just cime across as to not care or wanting to assist. Prices are really good and shop is amazingly organized. I love it. Just wish the staff would get the opportunity to learn and be trained. Then they will also feel excited.

The floor assistants standing in groups chatting. I had to intervene to get attention. My material that i have ordered was not delivered as yet. Unacceptable.

The staff is unfriendly and unwilling to assist. I asked the guy if they can cut a piece of glass for a small coffee table. He said no, the glass I have will not be correct. He was also unwilling to have a look at the glass I brought with. I will never recommend this place to anyone who is looking for friendly and good customer service.

Was my first time in this store today. All i can say is Amazing....

My goto place to get any DYI items .this is for a guy like a child in a toy store .can walk around hour looking for items for new projects to work on .staff always friendly and assist were possible ,sure they get n bonus on the more stuff you buy .they are even willing to order item that is not available which helps alot to get the job done

We were wanting a fitting for the washing machine. We passed about 12 sales guys 5 in one lane and not one asked if they can help. We found it ourselves got to the tills the floor manager is packing cooldrinks and till ladies and cleaners are having a great chat while we wait to be helped. I said to my husband this is disgusting the floor manager finally called a lady while the others dispersed. We got to the till and lo the till will not open it is not even unlocked so we had to wait again for the same floor manager to give the key to open.. I will never go back to build it again 😭

Staff are reluctant to assist. I expected better customer service from this Build It outlet. The lady that I asked for assistance was blatantly rude. You lost a customer bye bye Build It Mercury.

But you only buy it, if it fits on you bakkie or if you can load it there and then. 3 times I have used the delivery. first time, same day. 2nd time, 2 days later after I asked when they will decide to deliver my stuff.3rd time is been 3 days and when I asked, o we are busy with your order as we speak, 3rd time, sorry. I canceled the order and asked a refund. I got to a point where I would rather pay more to someone else, than to waist my time to ask and pay for a delivery. Will never us there delivery service.

The staff at build it is very incompetent I bought reddy mix concrete and the staff didnt put my cement in the bags cost me a trip from Heidelberg to collect my cement
