The service in this store is atrocious
A total nightmare. I walked into the store on Wednesday the 20th of Feb 2019 and was assisted by a very friendly young man, who did a port for me. He asked me to wait for the sms from Vodacom to come and collect my sim card and have it linked to my ported number. I received the message, however it was already too late. I then went back the Thursday after work and was helped by a very unfriendly gentleman by the name of Roshan (or something to that effect). He firstly didnt even greet or seem as though he wanted to assist. He went on about his way, without once communicating with me of exactly what the story is and what sim card i needed, he went ahead and entered information linking the sim card to god knows what, on the system, only requesting documents, my number and proof of address. When he was done, I asked him if he was aware i was here to get a sim card because I had just ported my number the evening before. With total shock, he then said we needed to get another sim done then, he wasnt aware. All this could have been avoided if he displayed customer care traits from the beginning, by greeting, asking what he could be of assistance with, etc. 6 days later, Im only getting my issue resolved, by a gentleman from another vodacom store in Greenstone, who has gone out of his way to reverse the whole port, as Roshan actually ported my number to a DATA sim!!!!!!!!!! A whole mess nje. Im EXTREMELY disappointed in the manner that my port was handled by Roshan. Management, please look into this. You do not want another dissapointed customer, in the hands of Roshan or whatever his name is. Take action whilst its still early.
