Not only is the wine amazing, the food is really good and the staff are the friendliest I have encountered in a while. The winemaker is doing an amazing job in all regards, its great to see such an historical farm thriving!

I literally cannot wait to go back! My husband and I occasionally drive through Bot River on the way to somewhere else. This time, on the spur of the moment, we Googled a place to stay, saw the good ratings, and booked a night in the Pepper Tree Cottage at Beaumont.I am really happy to say that the high ratings are well deserved.Loved the wines and the inviting tasting room. The room was gorgeous and excellent value for money for a place that size.We bought food from local farm stalls and made ourselves a wonderful meal in the well-equipped kitchen, and enjoyed it looking at the gorgeous flowers and birds around us.It was all so perfect, it reminded me how wonderful it is to be alive and to live in South Africa.The first thing I did when we left was round up some girlfriends to book out both cottages. Do yourself a favor and try this place out.

We had a great weekend at Beaumont. We stayed at the Pepper Tree cottage which was not only beautiful but very well equipped. Once we got into the cottage, it felt like we were really in the middle of nature. In the morning, we went for lovely walks in the farm and in the mountains nearby. The wine was excellent and the hospitality incredible. Sebastian and his team made us feel at home. Certainly, one of the best farm stays in the Western Cape so far....would love to visit again.

Beaumont Wine Estate recently added a deli, restaurant and permanent venue for small parties to their beautiful environment. We experienced a very professional wine tasting with delectable knibblings. The meat and cheese platter was perfect for 4 with crusty bread and mouthwatering goodies (go see for yourself!) Its always difficult for me to join a wine tasting group as I am not a fan of alcohol, but the waitress fixed me a divine virgin cocktail which made me feel part of the group. This was a really outstanding experience and well definitely be back.

So enjoyed our Saturday lunch we came back on Monday. And bought a frozen moussaka for Tuesday. It was absolutely perfect - full of flavour, and a perfect balance of meat, brinjals, potato and sauce.

A special place in an idyllic location with a peaceful ambiance & touches of loveliness. Food & drinks were delicious. Staff ever so friendly.

This well established Bot River Wine Estate is definitely a highlight of the area. The wine tasting facilities are excellent - no need to book. The selection of wines on offer are comprehensive and all definitely need to be tried! They also offer a charcuterie board of delicious cheeses, meats and terrines. There are accommodation options there as well, however we did not assess them. Overall, this is a highly recommended place to visit!

During our visit, we were fortunate enough to be hosted by Sebastian, the hands on winemaker and proprietor of this family owned and operated estate.Love the story, love the stories behind the wine and it great for kids.Will be back many times over.Little gem in the tiny town of Botrivier.

Beautiful estate! My group just did a wine tasting but they refused to let us sit down, even though I’m pregnant. Many tables were open! So I sat by myself on a bench where they allowed me to- far away from my group. Wish they could have made a small exception for a pregnant lady just looking to enjoy the afternoon with family.

Lovely revamped tasting room with some good wines. Mostly quite pricey, higher end wines but the Chenin Blanc is a winner.

This wine farm offers tasting of their stunning wines, hiking trails and a restaurant.

A great time spent testing the wines with an adorable and warm Nadia who knows how to put us at ease. Everything is good at Beaumont. We will come back with great pleasure to have dinner.
