We had a lovely afternoon with excellent food and wine. The lavender was beautiful and the rural setting with the resident ponies and goat helped us to unwind. The hostess was very helpful and humorous. What a nice outing away from crowds

The BEST curry I have ever eaten! For wine lovers you will be excited by the finesse of the range. Great service and outstanding hosts. The restaurant/winery is set in unique surroundings. All produce from the farm combined with a selection of herbs and spices from distinguished suppliers. Not to be missed.

The hostess was exceptionally friendly and helpful from the moment of arrival. The food was delicious and the experience was overall delightful. I would definitely recommend visiting.

What a warm welcome with a medium range in terms of size but huge breadth of variety, and all good. Well worth a visit, I’m sure you will go back a second time.

Horrible service.Waiting a very long time to get a table with waiters ignoring me. Asked one for a table and she disappeared.Then another one helped people that came in after me while I am still standing waiting for a table. Very unorganised and bad service.

Loved the setting and heat for kids. There is even animals to view and a play park. Very friendly staff.

If you do nothing else this winter, you MUST have lamb curry at Ecology. You wont find a match anywhere. And the location is sumptious, friendly relaxing professional.

Friendly & Great Food

The restaurant is rich in the vibes it radiates and the waitrons contribute to a memorable occasion by being attentive to ones needs throughout the meal. The mutton curry is absolutely delicious - the best Ive ever had, so much so, that Ive not considered to sample any of the other dishes on the menu during my three visits.Mr Owner, you have magic going here, heres saluting you!

Absolutely beautiful...perfect decor, not pretentious at all, interesting surroundings, wide range menu and excellent food at such reasonable prices.

It was the not a good visit of this place. Why? Ordered meals came after 55 minutes from order, the starter was ready after the mains, with proposal to take it away.They lost today at least 6 customers. Me and my friends.

Friendly service and good food

Owner with a serious attitude. Overcharging the guests but blaming it on wrongly placed order. Tip 1: Compare the prices on your menu with the prices on your till. Tip 2: Its not automatically the guests fault when things go wrong.

Very nice venue. Service however very lacking. They were setting up for a large group and I think the rest of the patrons were forgotten about. Wouldn’t say however I’d recommend this place.

The owners wife was so friendly and proficient in her presentation of wine tasting. We ended up eating a fabulous meal and buying lots of wine! Very relaxing ambience. Were hoping they will offer accommodation in the future!!

Such a beautiful tranquil spot on the way to Hermanus. A lovely breakfast and the setting with beautiful gardens is a treat.

Authentic dishes made with locally sourced ingredients, pizza oven, friendly staff, and large and cozy seating areas. Theres a playground and ponies for the kids.

This is wonderful place to stop with kids for a meal, craft beer and house wine. Great play area for kids. Food is mediocre, though, and they didnt have pizzas available the day we visited, unfortunately, because those looked amazing.

We were blown away by evey aspect of the place! Amazing service by the staff, a wonderfully equipped baby station/changing room and the food was spectacular!

A great place with a wonderful ambiance. Well-known for their curry. The barbequed meat though was not well prepared and tasted horrible. The service is rather slow when they are busy.

The reason for my rating is because I spent very little time here. I can tell you though that you can buy dried and fresh proteas here. You can also have lunch here.

Had a great breakfast here yesterday which was all the better due to great service. The selection of protea plants in the nursery makes a visit all the more worthwhile.

Yummy Malay curry. A nice surprise as so much more than expected. Good Malay curry and salad, good size portion and well priced. Friendly attentative staff. Wine choice .. excellent variety. Great for locals and for people on their way between Cape Town and Hermanus. Worth the visit.

We have waited almost 2 hours for our Food, a few Pizzas and Mutton Currys, not worth the wait as food was below average (except the salad), and no apologies, or gestures of goodwill either for the long wait! The only replay we got a few times was: Food is on its way! Not a pleasant experience if you are with hungry kids!

Currently under upgrade/construction but its operating. Kids playground is being built. Should be done by Christmas.There is a peering zoo which is lovely but watch out for the roosters. Pony rides also available. burger is great and large portion. Mussel starters are tiny and could be better cooked.Coffee is barista quality.Great and attentive service compensates for the slowish kitchen.Ample parking, cosy looks. Small nursery with lovely fynbos bouquets.Well worth a visit.
