Beautiful location. Friendly people. Nice snack platters and wood fired pizza. Amazing beer. Big, outdoor tables looking out over the Overberg with an open play area for the young ones. We always enjoy every moment here.

Lovely stop just before Hermaus. Youll find the mostly Belgian-inspired beer enjoyable. We loved the saison and the overall experience meeting the brewer and proprietor. Dont miss the chance to take away some bottles and especially the lambic and quadrupel!

We had a lunch time pizza which was most enjoyable. I didnt have a beer because I was already way over the limit and I was driving but Lorraine had a very good glass of wine. Dog friendly. Two lovely dogs live there. The host and hostess were very good company. We were the only people there and felt like family by the time we left

Awesome venue and great tasting beer with a wide variety! Definitely recommend.Drove past the brewery on arrival due to not seeing clear signage and the roads up ahead arent too normal car friendly.That being said, I might just have been blind with excitement and missed the signs.

This place is a winner. The pizza is amazing and so is any of the delectable beers on tap. Theres also a safe zone for kids to do their thing swings and such.

Id felt like something for months and couldnt quite put finger on what I felt like. Twas only until Id discovered Honingklip Brewerys bangers and mash - oh so good!Staff are really friendly and accommodating. Great craft beer. Lots of activities for the kids. The establishment is dog friendly. Max and blondie (resident dogs) are very social and made great friends with our dogs.Thanks for the great experience! Ill be back!

4x4 route ... well marked.

This is one of the hidden jewels in the Overberg! Outstanding hospitality, and an unusual menu complement the Craft beer which is brewed on the premises. Views over the Overberg farm lands in a distance make outside seating a must. Dont miss the turnoff and the short distance unpaved road, and support local iniative!

We as a family enjoyed a fun-filled morning with the Easter bunny, pony rides and a delicious breakfast buffet.

Great beer as one would expect from Mark, the brew master and a great variety. Snack platter complemented the beer.

These guys make you feel so welcome and chat to you like you are old friends. They have also tweeked their beer and food menu for the better. A simpler food menu and bolder beers. Simple but delicious! And having Growlers for sale for take away beer is always a winner.

A small independent brewery which makes a range of Belgian style beers and lagers. With a tap room or bar, a restaurant and fabulous scenery this is a place to visit and wont disappoint if beer and food is your like. The owner and staff are knowledgeable, passionate and very welcoming. A 4 X 4 and mountain bike track is also available for those with adventure and energy to satisfy and burn, just bring your own vehicle or bike. Highly recommended!

Well worth the visit of you are in the area, they have a jungle gym for the smaller kids, so you have some time to do your testing.

A Belgian style craft beer brewery. We experienced the most informative tasting here and all the beers were enjoyable, each for their own reasons and Im not a general beer drinker. I mostly only enjoy Weiss or La Trappe and they had their own variants of these to. Theres a small play area for kids but I suggest you take some adult time and enjoy the best quality craft beer weve yet come across in SA. Theres also a 4x4 track on the property but we decided to focus on the beer instead.

Had the weekend special mussel pot with a snack platter and cheese board. Bread was freshly baked and delicious with the pot and platters. Beer tasting excellent. Recommend the White beer if you like it fresh and lite and the Tripple for the more mature pallet. Great experience.

So today we took a little drive out - to pick up our wood order in the Botrivier area.As I come over the mountain 💡💡- I turn to my husband and say: “Honingklip - check if it open? We are in the area and I have not seen the wonderful people of Honingklip in a while.”Hubby responded: “It is 08:30 - they are still closed.”Me: “Just phone & check - I want beer for breakfast”He phones - and confirm they open - Jipee!!!Fast forward to 10:00 - wood loaded - we are eagerly on our way to Honingklip - THEY ARE OPEN.Oh my - how wonderful - they created an IPA (Indian Pale Ale) and Stout to die for - so lekker.What is just as fun - creating your own pizza or pizza bread.We ordered both loaded With breakfast goodies - and the come with a lovely crispy base and just a good size - very yummy.We had a wonderful time - lots of laughs and chats.Our bellies full - we back on the road again by 12:30 - missing Honingklip already.Thanks you guys for making it so memorable.GreetingsRené & Henry Gilham

A great outdoor venue with a big shaded area to sit. Ample parking is available. The beer brewed as a great taste. The Hongingklik 4x4 roue is absolutely one of the best with challenges for all with a diversity of obstacles.

We popped in to purchase for the first time. Rustic remote location, with option of restaurant or taproom/ tasting room. Friendly welcome, efficient service. We did not eat but bought beers for take-home. Views for lunch on the deck looked pleasant.

I really enjoyed the meat platter and the beer is always excellent. Possible also the nicest pizza Ive ever tasted.
