Really an incredible place! Amazing for a big group of friends/family.

The cabins are very rustic and simple, but you have a shared living space separately from the cabins that is very well equipped. The location on the river with loads of space outside is just great! Canoes, trampoline, volley ball, swimming, and a lot of wine tasting nearby, so there are enough activities to keep you busy

An excellent choice for a group get-together. Clean and well fitted communal kitchens and ablutions.

Just love the rustic fibe. It was so peaceful and the birdlife was amazing. Will visit again for sure.

Loved this place. Unpretentious. Lots of fun.

I was at breede river with my friends and family. We booked both camps because we were a lot of people. I am 14 and its quite difficult for me to be satisfied🥴 but i really liked breede escape. The location was fantastic, the water was warm, and there was plenty of equipment like kayaks and floats etc. One thing that was a little annoying was that most of the ground was either covered in nut shells or thorns and both of them are quite painful for barefeet people like me, but if you have open shoes like flip-flops or so it should be fine ☺️

Absolutely heaven, not camping, not glamping. Excellent for groups

Great fun and a lovely venue but the entire contingent of adults and kids were so badly bitten by sand fleas I suspect we wont go back.

Great view with lovely swims and a swing for the kids with comfortable beds and a tidy well equipped interior would go there again

The best place to chill

As a fairly unorganised person I managed to make the booking for Camp 1, it was just a weekend away with 11 of my friends. This place comes with everything you need, just bring yourself and food and bedding and you good to go. They provided everything you need.Absolutely amazing setting with lots of activities, with the camp on the river bank what more can you ask for.I highly recommend this spot to everyone, Id go back in a heartbeat.Beautiful and private. Recommended.

Lovely place for a group. Its on the rustic side but has all the facilities that you need. Its next to a deep hole in the river so theres good swimming all year round. The owners are truly the kindest people. I would recommend this place for everyone.

Very nice place

Excellent campsite on the Breede River just outside Bonnivale . 2 sites consisting each of a Lapa, huts with beds to sleep in. Inside fire place to braai. Fully equipped kitchen with fridges. Inside toilets and showers with hot water. Outside seating area on the river bank with a fire place for when you sit outside at night. Kayaks to go rowing on the river. You can fish in the river. Great camp for groups bonding.

This is an amazing venue right on the edge of the breede River. The huts remain cool in the heat of the day and the trees create a canopy in the middle of the huts which makes for a great outdoor seating area during the day.There are two camps here, both are good, the general kitchen and bar area provides a rustic experience with a fridge, chest freezer and indoor braai area.There is ample wood available from the owner, the setting is quite private and secluded, we spent 4 days here with a group of 24 and it was absolutely amazing.
