The vet is absolutely wonderful and helpful. I would definitely recommend them.

The Dr is very nice but the location is not the best. We waited forever in a crowded reception area (which in light of Covid is not good) to be seen, and despite the notice on the door stating one person per animal, people arrived two or three for one family / pet. They can definitely work on their Covid protocols.

Thought my cat had a bad eye infection, they gave me drops and didnt work so send my son to a sister company to take MRI scan to see what they dealing with. Next day operated and my cat had a ver rare infection in this mouth that caused the eye to swell out of preposition. My cat is now back to normal. Didnt even charge me for extra for the other consolation just the 1st one. As my dog was there the month before so spend alot of money but worth it. GREAT SERVICE THANKS GIRLS

I have never been to a more caring hospital. Ive always been treated with the greatest respect by the kindest vets. I wont take my cats to any other hospital again. Five stars !!!

I have been there a few times and to be honest would not recommend going there. Staff especially young blond reception not professional at all dont think she has person skills at all. I seriously think staff need to work on their attitudes towards customers as customers is what pays their salaries

Very poor experience.Even more disappointed that the vet at hand actually had the nerve to comment on my moms review indicating we were antagonizing her and more so rude and disrespectful, when in fact this was the behavior of the vet herself. At no stage did either of us raise our voice, in fact the people in the waiting room looked confused upon our quick departure and in no way alarmed about ‘raised voices’ this questions the professionalism and obvious lack thereof.We are obviously not the only ones disappointed and dishearten by the services rendered here as seen in other reviews especially ones explicitly pointing out a lack of professionalism and people skills, as well as more empathy needed for both animals and humans - these people are not mistaken and it is no coincidence that such reviews have come about since new owners have taken over as well as this vet. So glad we found a more professional, helpful and respectful vet. I would not recommend this vet whatsoever. Has no care for the animal at all and would refer you to the vet in sunward park or even park view animal clinic where they give the most professional and incredible service and their true compassion for animals is at the forefront.Also kindly note, my nails and lashes have nothing to do with your ability to do your job, but your obvious lack of professionalism leads you to comment on that rather than accepting responsibility. Your choice to work on a weekend should again have no bearing on your ability to do your job, at which you would have been paid to do - we are paying customers and have never not done so.The emotional black mail, exuded in your comment indicating that a situation like this is the cause of suicidal tendencies is unwarranted and again incredibly unprofessional and I ask that you educate yourself further regarding mental health and maintain your professionalism in future in not blaming others for the suicidal tendencies of vets.

Worst vet practice I have come across. My dog was rushed there on a Sunday afternoon screaming in pain, was given pain meds. Went back 3 times after that as he was not getting better, did x-rays but nothing. Finally was diagnosed as a DRAMA QUEEN!! Took him to another vet and upon doing x-rays (same as Witfield vet), they found that his stomach was full of gas and was treated for an upset tummy. The new vet also noticed on the x-rays that something seemed off about his neck and told me that if he doesn’t get better that he’ll be referred to a specialist. A few days later he had major spinal surgery. So much for being a DRAMA QUEEN!!! Oh and sent Dr Conradie an email requesting all the invoices, still no response 7 months later. Have been handed over for an outstanding amount which by the way is not even a drop in the ocean compared to how much I spend at Witfield just for them to diagnose my dog as a DRAMA QUEEN! Would not recommend this vet to anyone ever!!

They are definitely neither interested in animals nor in the well being of them. If you dont have a credit card, you will not be assisted.My Cat had a broken rear leg and they looked at him with no interest and told me if i dont have the funds available immediately for his meds or xrays they cant assist. A 10 minute visit after a few good references i will NEVER rely on them again.We had to put our cat down because we didnt have available funds immediately to get medication and save an animals life.

Weve been taking our dogs to them for years. They are always very helpful in sorting our pets out. The vets are always sincere and very caring.

Have had nothing BUT the absolute best service from this Animal Hospital, regarding all my ferals, that were TNR. I would most definitely recommend them at any given time.

One of our doggies was not eating and took him to Winfield vet.after the check up I asked the vet if it was contagious and was told no.Two day later had to take my other doggy back to witfield vet.When questioning the vet why we were not told about the issue at hand she got very defensive and sent us some where else.Thank you Sunward park vet. The not only knew and explained what the problem was but medicated both of them accordingly with no further problem.I dont have pet medical aid and have wasted a small fortune with witfield.I will no longer use them and would advise that if you want proper care with your pets go to Sunward vet.

Called to ask if they might have had any cats come in off the streets as my cat has been missing for the last 2 days and the lady just put the phone down without saying anything phoned the next day got the same treatment. Phoned immediately after again asking at which point I only got a no as a answer.

Extremely all over the place. My dog was there for a emergency op we signed a contract for set amount. They sent the dog back after one day of this massive op then we had to bring her back due to complications of the op. They then proceeded to charge even more despite the contract thats in place. Any way we paid for it. Now I get contacted by lawyers for even more money.. Wow guys money driven vet with zero care for animals.

This vet missed diagnosis my dog that it almost passed away. Will not recommend this vet to anyone nor should anyone tkse there believe four legged family members there.

Pricey, good friendly customer service with knowledgeable staff

First time visit with my sick dog last Saturday. Was the only one there and vet immediately treated the dog and spent over half an hour chatting to us about care going forward. Sat with my husband and chatted about the care of our African Grey we have at home too. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Its a vet and hospital combined, something a lot of vet practices dont have, which can compromise the life of a very sick pet. Under the microscope slide tests are done right there and you get the results straight away. This is my new vet!!!
