Good Morningmy wife and i went in a panic yesterday to go buy a new car seat as we were not happy with the one we bought online.we were then met by the most amazing person Mama Margaret she helped us so so much showing us how to correctly install the car seat as the mounting system has changed since my 8yo son was born coming out to my car and explaining why the seat needs to be mounted the way it is and even suggesting seat protectors to protect my new car something i never would have thought of or ever known that such a product existedShe is the most loving and honest person i have met in a very very long time saving us from spending unnecessary money by being honest and suggesting better alternatives not once did i feel like she was trying to up sell because she backed up her opinion with factsPlease look after her the world needs more people like her

The best experience EVER! On Black Friday. Phoned to find out if they have the items in stock. They got it ready for me and 20 minutes later I arrived at the store. My items were ready, I paid and left the store within a few minutes. I am 7 months pregnant and it was such a relief to not stand in the que and to receive such wonderful service! Thank you so much.

Very dissapointing! I tried to exchange a toy today, and there was only 1 teller that could assist. Only to dicover that the manager needs to check the goods before allowing an exchange. His opinion and decision to allow exhanges is not professional and claims he is just following procedure. Definitly not protecting the consumer but more than a bush tribunal. I will escalate to the consumer protection board. Thinking of it if the initial service on purchase of the product was better this exchange could have been avoided but due to the lack of service an incorrect purchase wad made. Note that while I was waiting there was a long que behind me with toys to be exchanged. Bet there is many unhappy customers getting handled not able to exchange gifts.

All the toys in the shop are covered in dust, its unbelievable really. One of their employees even offered wet wipes for us to wipe the dirt off our hands.They are your one stop shop for toys though. I just cant get over how dusty the shop is.

Great variety but not customer friendly store. When phoning about stock no one knows what is going on in the store. When exchanging a gift bought, in the toys r us bag, I was turned away as I did not have a slip.

Please edit your opening time. I got here just after 8:30 on Sunday as per the Google operating times. And I see on your door it only opens at 9. Unfortunately I dont have your door with me at home so please make sure Google knows what time you open.

The staff is always huddling together and chatting and dont always look happy to assist. The tellers dont greet you when back when at the counter paying for your goods and would even talk about you as if youre not around. Im never happy with the service because of how customers are treated.

Was very pleased with my visit today (17 July 2020), we were greeted upon entering with a smile by the lady who sanitised our hands, and we found what we were looking for.

They dont have demo toys... You just have to trust that you are buying something that you want.

I hardly ever find what I want in this store. And I hate how untidy and just all over the place everything is. The isles dont have markings. The only thing that you can see is the barbie and Lego section 😒. I recently went to look for a Ludo game and it wasnt there. I just wish they could at least mark their isles so one doesnt have to wander around the store its very time consuming when you want something specific.

Nice Toy Shop! Bought toys for grandchildren in December. One toy was broken so we went to change it. They were most helpful about it and gave us a brand new one. Only pity is that they force you to use their batteries in the toys. But all in all they have a great selection of toys and for all ages.

Such sales pitch and toleration you seldom get. Just the knowledge of the car seats, strollers, prams camp cots was most appreciated.

Typical toys R us store. Reasonable product range. some of the staff were reasonably good. Others were less interested.

When visiting the store the other day, i was standing in line literally listening to the cashier / lady at till, bad mouthing the customers. This is not a place i will support if this is the kind of staff that help us.

Incompetent staff. Will rather stand and chat than to help customers. No PI labels on shelves and the shelves that has PI labels has the wrong labels. Then management just say they have a barcode policy. Will never buy here again.

Mar 3, 13:59Went to Boksburg branch, with my wife ,daughter (4 years old) and son (7 months old) and a fight started between two customers. So bad that one of the two kicked a lady who is far along pregnant, he kicked her in her stumac so hard that she went to the ground. The worst of all your security guys did not a dam thing to stop anything. The first and last time Ill support toys r us. Its clearly not safe for me or my family.
