Well, ... we read some good reviews, and decided to give them a try. We also smiled ear-to-ear when our sushi platter arrived.I dont know where the one star reviews come from, but we loved it.The waitresses were eager to serve and the sushi was simply delicious, ...Well done, keep it up.

This is one of the better sushi-buffet places I have been to! Sushi is exciting, great variety and you are even allowed 1 serving of sashimi or one of their premium products. Service was good, waitresses were very friendly. Worth a visit at least.

Loved it. My first sit-down meal since Covid hit and since moving to Johannesburg. Really friendly owner, she interacts with all customers, the male Sushi chef behind the belt was also very sweet and attentive. Sushi was great, thick slices of Sashimi and large glasses of wine. Definitely visiting again

Good food, good sushi and the service was great. Sushi was freshly prepared, and the portion sizes on the mains are huge. The owner came to our table to greet and check on us. Overall we had a really great experience and will return.

Great restuarant. The outside sign says Panda Cuisine so it was a bit confusing to get to the restuarant but overall a very good experience. Very friendly staff

Wow and wow again. The sushi buffet is great. Large variety of sushi, some in-house designs as well. Try the battleship as well as the angel maki. Portion sizes are huge...you have been warned!Signage has changed, look for the Panda shop.

Not a first great experience at all, double payed and then the manager were rude paying back the money and kept on giving excuses. Money went of bank account, week later and she still said money is not in account. I even called my bank and was told the money went through. Sushi wasn’t great, soy sauce was cooked or watered down.

Probably the most disgusting takeout Ive ever gotten. Got 2x sweet and sour pork. Its so bad I dont even know what to start with. The pork had the texture of a week old dried out meat. The dough around the meat tasted like vetkoek. Maybe this is where they try and bring the sweet in because the sauce tastes like it came straight out of a pickled onion jar.

This sushi is absolutely fantastic! The chef was so friendly, her talent and passion lives through the taste of her amazing sushi. What an experience! 10 stars!

Im a sushi addict....and I only buy from Tataki Rietfontein Road Boksburg North, Wendy and her staff are very pleasant, helpful and friendly and the food is always amazing, and they know how to make sushi for sure and the chow mein and chow faan is absolutely delicious....pricing is very reasonable, which I gladly pay....at least I know its quality food made with love and skill!!

Nice place. There is room for improvement. Someone needs to tell them that salman Roses normally comes with the Salman all around the rose not just a small thin slice on the one side.

The sushi is really good! And you have a variety to choose from too. The staff are also really kind and the 2 chefs are willing to prepare for you by request too. Delightful people working there 😊

Good value for money ... wide variety of sushi at very reasonable prices ... I like the Green Thai Chicken Curry in particular... very spicy.... nice veggies ... but not for the weak hearted though....brilliant taste

All you can eat Sushi ???... has become all you can eat Rice ...Sadly this has always been a very good place to go out for an all you can eat sushi ... unfortunately the last 3 times we went to Tataki...to have some Sushi its just as little as possible fish followed by chunks of rice in factSushi pieces you can hardly fit in your mouth because of the amount of rice ... followed by fairly unfriendly service and management if you complain about the amount of RICE

Amazing chef and buffet prices

Ordered honey chicken but instead got chicken soup for R 100. Wow never again. Awaful. Obviously the 4 and 5 star reviews are not use to quality. Sorry guys.

Amazing fresh food and extremely friendly

Great service and very friendly. Unfortunately the quality of the sushi was not up to standard and the amount of rice used was overwhelming. I wont be going back.

Sushi quality was very low , Smelt horrible and my tuna was really light and had black bits , my tempura prawns were so white and smelt horrible too , I hate to give a bad review but I was really disappointed. I heard the sushi was amazing and was let down

It is a small restaurant that serves delicious food. The sushi is amazing and the variety will keep everyone happy. The eat as much as you can sushi buffet is a winner and you will definitely get value for money.

Not the prettiest place on Earth, but well priced and very friendly staff. Delicious food. All you can eat sushi is offered. Probably better for couples, but groups can be accommodated.

Terrible ! We cant complain about the service because there wasnt any ! We waited for more than 45min for food... the sushi conveyer was empty during the eat as much sushi special ...we recieved WARM Beer in the WINTER with ice in a glass ....place was packed with only 2 waiters and none of them knew how to cope ... its sad to think that Tataki was once a fabulous restaurant , we were regular customers and its sickening to think this is what its become ... they will surely not see us again ... the doors wont stay open for long !

Awesome food

I wanted to love it, but the service was pretty terrible. Sushi was okay, but there were so few options with the buffet and the presentation wasnt the best. The tempura shrimp, however, was amazing.

Very good sushi and great service. The belt was empty and we had to wait for our food but that made it very fresh.

At the time I visited it was great all round food and service. (2 years ago,I do believe its not on the same level currently)

What an amazing place, the lady that makes the sushi at the sushi bar is very kind checking up on everyone looking to see if they enjoying there meal and if there’s something they need.The waiters are also very nice always cleaning the counters and asking if there is anything els they can get you..Would really recommend this place.

Parkrand is our usual sushi restaurant. We decided to try Boksburg because Parkrand was a bit over crowded.Service was very, very slow. The sushi is almost JUST rice, barely any fish in it. Tempura prawns came, more dough than prawns. Over sushi for a while & when we return it will be to their Parkrand branch...
