After having dealt with this establishment we were told in person that glasses may be returned dirty however terms and conditions say otherwise. I am not sure whether staff is not trained properly or this is a tactic.After having reviewed them, they then had an employee to disseminate false information on a public format. Following a confrontation with management the post was then removed. So be adviced if you do review them look out for a terrible retaliatory review by an individual name Patience Ndlovu.

Reasonable prices, friendly service

Appalling service and attitude by one of the owners. You hire equipment not to have to deal with any of stress and hassles that comes along with using your own products. I specifically asked if we must clean the glasses when they are returned, and was told no it is not necessary. Then when I return the glasses I get shown the T&Cs by a woman with a very disgusting attitude telling me I will pay to have them cleaned. About 3 other clients complained about this lack of respect and disgusting attitude shown by this women while returning equipment.

They have very nice equipment for hire. Whatever youre looking for youll find. However when you cancel a booking you lose all your money no refund. So you are forced to basically either take something else or lose your money 🤷🏻‍♀️ the same policy with things you purchase there--only exchanges allowed no returns. Aside from that policy their equipment is quality and cheap to hire/buy

One of the most awesome places Ive ever been to, staff is so helpful and kind. Smith Party Hire has such a variety and the best prices Ive come across. Wouldnt recommend smiths party hire... So I hired silver underplates from them for a function.. They send you a picture of what its going to look like.. When you collect it and set up they so badly scratched 10x worse than the picture ....You go out of your way to make your table beautiful but then its spoiled by what you hired... And the same thing happened to a family member in March...So disappointed Definitely not going back there.

Will NEVER use these people again. They treat you like n thief inside the shop, follow you around everywhere. Then the incorrect tablecloths were packed in for us - only the morning of the party when when we open it, we saw it. The glasses were dirty. 2 of the tables were damaged.

Can recommend for anything you might need for a engagement party or wedding. Prices are good.
