I would like to give east rand mall Spec Savers branch half a star, however I am only able to select a full star. From the day of my eye test, I ordered my pair of glasses as well as trial contact lenses according to my new script. Since the day of my eye test, I waited 4weeks to get my pair of glasses and still had to follow up in between. Upon fetching my pair of glasses, they did not have my trial contact lenses, which they gave me an excuse that the delay of my trial contact lenses were due to them being shipped from the UK. Which I am still currently waiting to be updated on when my trial contact lenses arrive in order to collect them. (It has yet been another whole week and no update).

Very lovely and modern. Friendly staff as well.

If possible I would give Nomsa the optometrist as well as the accountant a 5 star✳️ rating.For the rest of the crew especially the front desk people are so unwelcoming to people of color. They rude without even having to utter words. Id give them half a start.

Maritza had such great customer service at Specsavers East Rand Mall. She replaced my lenses in under 30 minutes and I was out of the with brand new pair!

I would like to compliment the staff at eastrand specsavers for being very accommodating, they explained the process thoroughly, the Optometrist Niccolene was kind and very professional and they helped me pick a wonderful pair of glasses. I will recommend this store to anyone who wants personalised and professional service.

To be fair, The second optometrist did take the time to do a thorough test. It turned out that the glasses i currently have are correct and there was no need for new ones. I am not sure why it took 2 optometrists to determine this. What i can say is make sure you ask for an optometrist who is thorough and not just looking to make a sale when you go

I would like to extend my utmost gratitude to Faith, I called in yesterday to query regarding trifocal lenses and I must say shes been and absolute star through out the call from start to finish she was patient with me and explained everything in detail about the test, the lenses and the frames also the promotion specsavers are currently running. I am most pleased with this bubbly person, she was very friendly and even went the extra mile by requesting for my email address to send the quotation for me. I have never in my life experienced such great service. She also explained to me the different types of trifocal lenses and because I have been wearing my glasses for over 7 years now she would prefer I come to the store for her to check the type of trifocal lenses for the optometrist to give me the best eyewear suitable just for my eyes. I will definitely be testing my eyes with specsavers going forward. Faith has shown me that there is still good service in this day and age.

Wish there was zero star rating. Same bad experience ever since I have been a client of this specific branch. They are delayed. You have to call to find out what is happening. When you get hold of them they have bad attitudes. I have been a customer for years at another branch but this branch definitely puts #spec-savers in a bad light. Keep your business I will not support any longer.Again this is for our eyes. If anything bad happens because of poor service who will take the rep?

Terrible service, no one calls to let you know whats happening and theres just too much confusion going on there. Truly I regret ever setting foot there where as I had gotten such great service last year at the Campus square Spec savers. I have never experienced something so awful

They have no customer skills they very rude.I wont ever recommend spec savers.

Had my eyes tested on the 24th of January 2019. Still havent heard a thing back as to whats going on with my contact lenses. Plus I was given trial pairs and they expired already in 2016! WTF this aint my vehicle or phone you messing with. Highly not recommended if your body means anything to you, stay away. Youve been warned my Google friends.

5th visit now for one pair of glasses. Had an eye test and asked for assistance with seeing my laptop. I was given the incorrect prescription which made my laptop out of focus. Came back to return them and was given a booking for 10 am. Made to wait. Whats the purpose of making an appointment. The only excuse I am given is that they are sorry. The optometrist who first did my eye test has not even bothered to ask what is wrong or even made contact to apologise. Terrible service.

Had test done on the 13th January and confirmed my purchase, was informed that it took between 10 and 14 days. Phoned on the 27th January to be told that sorry it takes between 10 to 14 workings days and I would receive a call on the 30th to update me. Phoned today the 1st Feb, no call as promised, to be told that it take 3 (working) weeks whatever the means. Poor service and communicationUpdate .............The protective layer on the glasses started to bubble and peel off, took them in and was told that they are now old, this does happen and i need to buy new glasses. Quite shocking when you pay thousands for someting that only last 24 months or less.
