Service is really slow at this telkom branch. An elderly man waited over an hour for service and in that time atleast 4 customers left the store ... Its only 10.30 so clearly it cant be lunch break already but staff left the store instead of helping.

Staff is extremely rude and unpleasant @ Telkom eastrand mall when you go in they also never answers there phones when calling . If you really want to go to Telkom rather go to lake side mall the staff there is friendly and helpful. I dont even think they deserve one star rating

I have applied for a contract 3 days ago. Where I was told the system is offline. But they will load everything on so long and I must come back Monday. I went back the lady that helped me was not at work. I had asked one of the ladies if they had loaded my application yet. To which she responded they have not and will. When I try and email the lady that helped me I get no response and they also do not answer there phones.

I went to Eastgate mall(Express) today to do a sim swap at a Telkom Store, I got a consultant by the name of NODUMISANI MKHIZE,The first attempt failed, 2nd also failed and I was confused, told her I dont understand whats the problem cause I ricard with my own details, and she got upset saying that Im calling her a liar, she developed an attitude, disappeared for some time, then grapped the papers and went to another consultant who confirmed the same thing and she gave me the nasty look and walked off.I mean really?Being nice to people doesnt kill.I walked out the store into another store and bought myself Vodacom sim, i know Ill never regret.

This applies to all Telkom stores!I dont like queues. Offline every now and then.They have great products and will give them 5 🌟 if they can just improve their service and efficiency. Also, calls and emails are hardly ever answered.

Great place to shop. Big and spacious mall. Theres covered parking, besides that, theres parking all around the mall closer to every side of the shops.Has a few halal eating places. Newly acquired cinnamon and krispie Kreme. Links up to the pick and pay hypermarket.

Telkom as a whole, considering the offering and the prices, is great. A save a lot of money with Telkom. Had one unpleasant experience with the store when the clerk loaded incorrect information and gave incorrect information and it took us a while to get things right, however subsequently this was fixed. Some members of staff are very friendly, others not really. Overall, Im happy and look forward when Telkom reaches new heights when these issues are sorted out.

They close for an hour when receiving stock. All staff standing in the back doorway doing nothing. Have new WiFi phone delivered without notice and the old land line cut. The new phone hasnt worked in a month despite calls and visits to telkom. And they want to charge for their service . Wonderful service -

Please remove numbers on site as you do not get through as well as store numbers doesnt get picked up. Very frustrating when you would like to get more info on products and upgrades. I also tried over 15 times if not more to get through to 10213 line. Why give two options and really there is only one very inconvenient option overall which is that you have to get to a store to get assistance?

Original post posted 5 months ago..Telkom took R700 deposit to install internet.they then called back yo say they cant help.they still have my R700 deposit over a year later and cant get any help whee i try contact them. Daylight robbery...contacted call centre on numerous occasions and even filled out forms to get a refund and always the same generic answer...we sorry...contact call centre or the most popular is we have forwarded your request to accounts department.two years after taking my money im still fighting the same battle

Tried to port my number to telkom on 18 August 2018 today is the 25 August 2018 still no number port. 3 phone calls a day 2 visits to telkom stores 20 excuses and trip to mtn still no number port.. well done telkom you have managed to waist 1 week 18 phone calls and 2 round trips of 300km each. I live in the freestate I drive 150km to east rand mall for nothing . Please feel free to collect your useless phone from me in the freestate i will not be driving to you again

Telkom has to be one of the most deteriorated well known brands in South Africa. With uninterested and lazy personnel, absolutely terrible aftercare service, phone numbers and emails not being answered, service is definitely not a strong point of this company. Telkom still does not recognise that no matter their regular adverts and superior product pricing compared to other similar service providers, prospective clients will not be enticed to leave their present service providers to migrate to this company with its disgracefull service reputation. Most people prefer paying a bit extra, but want and need quick and effective aftercare service. Time is money and clients cannot and will not spend hours contacting and reporting issues to Telkom without any reaction. I am always amazed how this company remains afloat when so many telkom clients complain about them. (Refer to the Hellcom website!)Telkom wake up!!!

Manager was unaware of Telkom pay as you go. Said the outlet I bought it from sold me the wrong recharge voucher and that I must take it back and tell them!!! One voucher does for mobile AND landline. Just different numbers ON THE VOUCHER for both. The more I told him (and showed him a voucher), the more he said it was wrong! Wake up Mr Manager and get with the programme!!!

I lost my phone and asked to do a sim swap. The guy couldnt help me because I needed proof of residence even though I have been with them for over two years. So I asked him to block the card temporarily until i return the next day with my much needed proof of residence. Not to my surprise, the guy who helped me the previous day suspended the card wrong, so the sim swap couldnt be done. So a different guy who tried helping told me he launched an incident report for them to unsuspend the card and told me it can take 3-5 days. It is now over 8 working days and the card is still suspended. This is poor service at its worst. I use this number for so many things and its a contract sim and yet it feels like they couldnt give a ****. Telkom is only good as long as you dont run into a problem, but once you do they cant help you. I guess I have no choice but to wait until someone in the company decides to unblock my sim. The sad part is that there is nothing I can do but complain, and since they dont care about their customers, this might even fall on deaf ears. Service delivery is not what they are about. My advice to anyone reading this. Dont let their cheap data and fancy adverts fool you. Once they have you on contract you signed a deal with devil. Theres no-way out unless you buy yourself out and they still get the money, so guess what, you loose.
