Food there is a bit suspect. Especially refrigerated food in the vegan range. The potatoes are inconsistent with taste. It feels like a lot of corners are cut here. Can use it until something better comes around. But there is definitely something better, especially with prices they add no distinction. Not doing better than anyone, they just exist for the sake of existing, and they are not too far away from me.

From the 1st time (2000) I visited them their service were excelent...❤...thank you.

If I could rate this Spar a 0, I would... Disgusting mannerism from the cashier, no way of talking to anyone, BLATANT RUDENESS . And clearly management has no interest in resolving complaints. Go and spend your money elsewhere that is more deserving

Store is clean and well stocked but management is very rude. Rest of the staff is friendly and helpful, just hope you dont need to interact management at all because thats almost enough to encourage shopping elsewhere.

Cashier at lotto machine is useless, turn away from customers, ignore customers. Absolutely no training, do not know how to communicate with customers.

Been shopping at my favourite shop for years...never been disappointed

I do all shopping here on a daily basis. None of their cashers offered the stickers all Spars shops are running to buy their aluminium cookware at a discounted price. I visited A Spar in Mpumalanga over the weekend and the friendly cashier handed the stickers to me and explained how i can use it. I enquired today about stickers at the Square Spar and was send to customer service where I spoke to the manager. Not very helpful he he it to me. This is Poor advertising. I have all my till slips waiting to hear about a car competition I was entered into every time i shop there also no word about it. Iam surely not very happy with how management treated a daily customer in his shop.

I enjoy shopping at Superspar-The Square... its quite cozy. I usually find everything i need right here. What i like even more is the layout of the products because i like starting with my fresh produce and ending with my cold meats👌

Its okay. The baked goods arent bad but seldom are fresh. But they have good deals and specials on meat and fruit. The store is arranged chaotically especially the entrance and the staff often seem distracted. The customer service really could be better.

Bought one of those pre-roasted chickens and buns today for dinner. I was disgusted when I started to cut it to put on the buns, as the chicken was not cleaned on the inside. All the insides (gillets) were still inside. I think this is disgusting. They should at least take the insides out before roasting it.

Not friendly at all. The cashiers are all black, management all Afrikaans... Go figure.

The Square Superspar has home made food inside the shop. Small snacks and baked goods that delicious. It is worth it to go in qnd see what they have. Over the weekends they sell boerewors rolls that is probably the best in boksburg and the price is really good.

Capitec clients are being charged two to three times when swiping at the till. I now have to pay to get my own money back which was wrongfully triple transacted from my account. Spar denies that the fault is on their side, yet my bank has told me repeatedly that the fault is on their side. Ive been told in person by management at this store that this has been happening a lot lately with Capitec clients.

Manager of the Spar past useless still waiting for quote 3weeks later.

This is the worst spar in boksburg in the few months I have been going there I have taken alot of products back from ham meat the other day the biltong had flys sitting all over it and now get home to find half of the tomatoes are off we just bought Im sick of it and will never go back to by any food product from them again

THE TOILET IS AWAYS DIRTY! I feel the health department must check this place out. You cant visit a restaurant that doesnt have a private toilet. What truly baffles me, is how can anybody have shops and expect that their staff and clients use this poorly maintained restrooms? Do you care about lives, in the light of COVID-19?I DONT THINK SO!

Satisfied, just sometimes you seea price on the shelf for a product and when you go and pay for it. It cost more than the price on the shelf. I dont think this is right. This needs attention from management.

A HUGE shoutout to Tinus at Spar, he is ALWAYS friendly, helpful and will go out of his way to assist you and make sure you are happy and assisted with any questions/requests. Today is one of those days...On SHORT notice, he made sure that i still get my platter at 17:00 to entertain my friends and family!THANK YOU GUYS !!!!!!!!!!
