We had a great dinner experience at the Spur. The food was well prepared and in proper portions. Anna took very well care of us. We also had a baby in the group and she prioritised the well-being of our little one. We were well informed about the specials for the evening and the general vibe in the restaurant was friendly. Their hygiene concept was clear from entrance screening to hand disinfection on the tables. There’s plenty of safe parking. We’ll definitely be back again!

In all the years we have been going 2 this specific spur they have always been on point the service is is always fast and friendly. I will always visit this spur the food always comes to the table quic and the food is prepared to perfection never had I ever had a problem. Every visit is a good experience. Keep up the great work. You guys deserve a reward.

Today to was my first time in this spur with my husband and kids and we loved it. I love the fact it was so children friendly especially for my one year old. I relaxed so well with my family there was no loud music and people were talking like civilized people 😂😂. I had forgotten my doggy bag and the waiter came running towards the car to give me.🙏😊 Im so Empress. Thank spur for making our outing the best. We will be coming back soon 🙂🙂

Supper was great ,as i had a Full Portion ,Buffalo Wings meal and Strawberry Milkshake .Was also able to give the waiter my SPUR FAMILY CARD NUMBER ,which ive used in other branches .

Was really good fillet steak!! Best had tasted, was like butterBenches bit small and my daughter slipped and fell backwards. Maybe an improvement to suggest to make bigger seat ledges on the outside area

My husband and I had such a wonderful time at Birchwood Spur last night... The waiter was prompt and friendly and the food not only looked delicious, but was. Thank you so much for your part in building great memories. We had so much more, but the Nachos starter, the Barone waffle and the Peppermint Crisp Tart looked so yummy, I completely forgot to take photos before we dug in.

Great place for family and nice play area for kids. They have nice trampolines and they also have video games for the kids

We really did not enjoy our breakfast this time. The waiter service was not good at all. The food not what we asked for and no one bothered to assist. When we were ready to leave the waiter fetch the dishes and messed the milk and did not even say sorry. She had such an attitude. Really did not enjoy our outing there

Went there for the first time yesterday. Place was packed and hot, waitress took 20mins to come back and take our order. However, my daughter enjoyed the play area and the food was fresh, without any complications.

Staff are friendly, play area for kids rocks..Easy access to sitting areas and all xovid protocols are always followed timeously.I can sit n work n my kids can have a ball.Love this place.

Tables not ready for clients and most of all waiting for our breakfast for thirty minutes until we decided to leave before it was served. By the way l had to go and look for someone to take our order. Nice place but management needs to improve. Definitely not going back.

Service was slow all the place was quite. When we asked for the pensioners menue he walked away and send a young lady to attend to us. Why cant they give the pensioners menue from start, why must we always ask.

Was checked at door, then just left to find our own way in. No one at door to the us to table. But after that good service from waiter, chicken wings were good. Until end of meal when needing to pay, waiter brought the bill and left card machine on another table. And seemed to have forgotten about us! Waited around 8mins for him to come back to table again

A great place to take your kids or the family, to eat. Large kids area and the food is good, too. Its not inside a mall, which I prefer. Its located in its own little tranquil place.

Firstly I would really have loved to give Birchwood spur 5 star rating if only the waitresses /waitrons really cared about customer service and represented this place with the class that it deserves. This place is beautiful, the location is great, the play area for the kids splendid BUT with all due respect these new waitresses appointed since 2020 wow can really make you feel like you are a begger waiting for free food rather than a customer. I for one wouldnt have complained here publicly if this was a once off incident. I loved going to this spur especially also because my boy loves playing here. But last time I went the waiter sat me down, brought me the menus and never ever returned. I waited, and waited until I called another waiter who was just passing by to assist me. I was so angry I never wanted to return there again but I thought well Mybe it was just a bad day. Today after I had fetched my son from school we headed there again after all we just love the place. Oh my God is it bad luck for me or what, the waiter sat me down, brought me the 3 menus for the kid, the wines and the food but guess what she disappeared again never to return, I just sat there like a statue for almost half an hour until the new manager Buttie who was just passing by asked if I was OK and I told him am still waiting that lady and she did not return he had to serve me himself. Even the lady that looks after the kids by the play area can attest to these incidents as we always sit outside and she had seen this happening. what happened to the service we used to get am so so disappointed. In those days even some school kids used to be waiters during school holidays but they were exceptionally good.

Its a shame that when you go to a restaurant a car guard turns you away for no parking because you a person of colour. Then a few seconds later finds a parking for a white person who drives a fancier car than you. Sadly, racial discrimination is still a reality in this country. Transform people, its the only way we moving forward!

Spur is known for good burgers and steaks at reasonable prices. staff crews are polite and courteous. the ambiance is good and ideal for family dining.

Great spot for the family, big or small. Very efficient waiters. Still serves the best ribs, (though I felt that the 600g was pretty small, felt like 400g). Im glad I could vape in the smoking section as well.

Not enough for this great diner. Cosy inside and enough room for social distancing, great staff members who are professional. You will not feel this cold weather once inside!!

My first time at this steak ranch in this location. Service was good. Atmosphere was good. Even the parking lot attendant made me feel welcome. As always with Spur steak ranches... food was excellent. Thank you.

Affordable breakfast especially since I am a pensioner this is perfect to take my friends there.

Very vibey and still stay a good family restaurant. I did go for the Trio special and chose the cheddamelr steak My partner and I found the steak a bit tuff, but overall the meal was fine.

The food was nice. The service a bit slow.

I had the most awful Nachos there; burnt chips and cheese melted away. Waiter brought me another one after I complained. The thing is, it shouldnt have gotten to me in that state in the first place. The waiter should have realized before bringing it to the table that the dish was burnt and overcooked at best and not brought it for me to eat. We dont get out to eat anymore because my husband is on pension and there isnt money to eat out. But I was absolutely craving nachos and so I was even more disappointed by the dish.

Super clean. Looks like they have renovated the restaurant. Looks good. Food was good and on special. Kids food was super delicious ( especially the Pizza) and they are big portions too. They have a fantastic play area for this kids which is open safe and clean. Staff, waiters and child supervisors where very friendly and professional. We will be going back.

Unfortunately, for a Sunday morning when its still empty to wait 40 minutes for a breakfast, then its ice cold.Waitress was no where to be found. We ordered a water, never arrived. One slice of toast had green on it, we were told it looks like avo ...A Week before we went on a Saturday afternoon, I had to complain about parents at the play area with no masks on. Walking around amongst other children with no mask. Not acceptable. Children older than 6 no masks.Disappointed

Not because it is close to home, but the regular staff remembers their customers.A restaurant is made by the people that make the food and then the staff that serve the food.The guys behind the grill and the staff in the kitchen, know how to prepare the food so you can enjoy it to the last bit.The waiters are super Friendly and they work fast, so service is great...They have space for the children parties, where you can have plenty fun.The menus also changes often to keep the customers happy with new meals to try.So bring your family and friends and have a great Spur time...Ps. There are many specials running during the week.

Super clean and the food was so good. We drove all the way from Heidelberg and I must say it was worth the distance. The service was great. There was social distancing between the tables. I was so happy.

Service is very very very slow. After two tables complained, then the manager came and told us that they were short staffed. I believe that when you are seated and they waiter takes your drinks, the Manager should take a walk and atleast let people know that they will wait almost an hour for an Unreal Breakfast. Communication is key. It was a Tuesday and there were only 7 tables.

Food quality has dropped over the years but the staff makes up for it. Friendly and helpful.

Went there to try some of their vegan meals. Ordered a veggie schnitzel. Got two burger patties with a sweet chili sauce. Ask her if the creamy sauce was vegan, she could answer me.
