Gas Monkey Pub & Grill is a real Gem, great for families to go out and enjoy a great meal, or with your friends to enjoy a large selection of drinks. Great selection of hot sauces, drinks menu and specials on a good looking and tasty meal. This was my first visit and I will be back. Looking forward to my next visit.

Wow.Wow.Wow this place is truly amazing. We had a lovely time. Food is superb. Love the little curio shop too and it is not expensive as one would expect. Burgers are amazing.

Vibe was good. Setting of the place is amazing. Love the colors and music. Floors was very very sticky and Im afraid to say the service was way to slow. Wanted to eat there but the beverage orders took so long due to 1 open bar the waiter have to travel to the lower level to get it that food ended as no option at all.

Due to the car show and the heat, Gas Monkey Boksburg, was extremely busy and service was rather delayed. Our first waitress disappeared after taking our order, but we were saved by Nikila. She made sure to have our orders placed in a jiffy and did so with a smile. Thanks for saving the day Nikila 😃

The best vibe in town! I go here on a regular base. Perfect place to park your bike away from cars, and car parking is very neat.During the week they are not so busy, on weekends it is very busy but with the beautiful tables (see photo) the social distance is still in place. The food is great, I will highly recommend the seafood potjie, you can also enjoy their fabulous cocktails.Staff are professional and it is great to be welcomed on the outside, handed over to n waiter on the inside and you do not have to wait for service.

I love this place. Great vibe, great staff and massive variety + well priced. Good specials as well. The reason I deducted one star is the kids play area: theres not much for very young kids + all the machines require coins. So what happens is my toddler takes the stack of R2s and its gone in a few minutes with no entertainment. I would highly recommend a small slide or something to keep the little ones busy, I dont mind even paying a small entry fee. Thats my 2 cents. Apart from this, its a magnificent place.

Looks like a fkn cool venue, the lighting and displays are well done, only kak thing was even though the place wasnt busy the floor upstairs was sticky, i felt my shoes pull while walking but downstairs was clean and spotless, maybe someone had spilt something - dunno but yeah looks like a venue that can be a great joll

This is really going to depend on what you fancy. We were there during the day, and it is a really awesome pub. I loved the decor. It is a huge with two bars. I can imagine this place becomes a thunderous, loud langout in the late nights. We didnt eat, but I saw some nice goodies on plates passing us by.

The food and vibe is great. Very tasty, well prepared and worth the money. The waffles, not so much. If you want waffles for dessert rather go somewhere else. The caramel is not caramel, Zoo cookie just have 1 cookie broken in 2. Fruit salad very dull, no taste......... You catch my drift. Just dont try it, not worth the money.

My daughter ordered a seafood platter, there was items missing and she became ill after eating 1 of the 2 mussels, it smelled and was clearly off. The Eisbein skin was soggy and soft and had patches of hair, the chips were under cooked. We will definitely not go back! Most horrible first and last experience, total let down

A very nice venue... Spacious, good selection of food and drinks. Well priced. The meal was very nice.. big portions. Service was excellent with the waitron paying good attention to the table. We really enjoyed our lunch and the time at the restaurant.

One of the few places I will definitely go back too there would not be enough words to explain how amazing this place is good food good vibe absolutely no complaints must at least check it out I promise you wont be disappointed if you try tomorrows regrets

Had an amazing breakfast on Saturday. Portions are big so real value for money. We girls decided to do the special and each had a double with a mix, wow did that liven up the morning. Great atmosphere, super comfortable chairs for those of us with broader beams. Highly recommended.

Great food and atmosphere. Can recommend. Car guards however are overly aggresive and will storm the cars two at a time right up to your window insisting on loose change. Put a downer on my first visit to the place. Hopefully this will be adressed.

First time visit and pleasantly surprised. Decor is exactly what you would expect if you are a follower of Gas Monkey Garage on tv.Food was really good and the draft beer excellent. Well priced with a really good atmosphere.Apparently they offer some live music entertainment on Wednesdays and some Saturdays.Thumbs up and easily recommended.

The interior and exterior of the place is pretty impressive, however it was extremely cold inside. Not only that, but we waited so long for our food. When I finally recieved my food, I was a little disappointed by how the food tasted... I was hoping that the food wouldve tasted better seeing as it was a little expensive. By the next day I also had an excruciating stomach ache and had a runny stomach too and I also found out that my cousin and sister who were there with me also had an upset stomach the nest few days. I dont know if it just wasnt my day, but I honestly believe that Gas monkey can do better. However, I will say that the waiter that served us did a pretty good job.

U cannot imagine a place with such pathetic service having 4.5 stars. Management Management Management. Please get a new one!

Very busy place. Looks a little bit like canteen inside, need some comfy designer touch. Was short of some beer on Sunday. We had to choose from what ever left. Food is good. Had lunch at the new Gas Monkey and it was great. Very good value for money. We had the Primate and Beef Gatsby. Both very interesting dishes and something you will not easily find elsewhere.We had a very friendly reception and excellent service from the waitress, Nicole.

Great vibe and place to visit in the evening. However, do not ever park your vehicle near the entrance doors. When we wanted to leave, somebody has damaged our vehicle. By the looks of it, it was caused by a fist, leaving a big dent on the left back door. No scratches, but a deep dent. Note that we did not stay for long.
